Selfie-snapping Capitol rioters left investigators a treasure trove of evidence — at least 140,000 pictures and videos taken during the deadly Jan. 6 siege, according to federal prosecutors.
Startling images quickly emerged of the siege, with many making no attempts to disguise their involvement — like bare-chested "QAnon Shaman" Jake Angeli, who was quickly IDed thanks to his horned bearskin headdress with red, white and blue face paint.
One of the first inside, Douglas Jensen, allegedly said he wanted to make sure the world saw his QAnon shirt so that "‘Q’ could ‘get the credit’" for the siege, according to officials.

Personally, I wouldn’t advise doing that. Why even go through the interrogation process?
What they lacked is the capacity.
It’s said that the capitol building is on of the most covered by security cameras. Why haven’t we seen any of that?
Any picture taken by a smartphone is tagged with the date, time, and latitude/longitude coordinates where the picture was taken. If you share that in social media, that meta data is most likely sent along with the picture.
Social media already has algorithms which allow people to match faces to names. Once a use does that for several of their friends, the algorithms can learn to do it automatically.
Moreover, the installed social media apps also scan your phones data, slurping up contacts, meta data from your photos (if you allow it access to your photos, which most everyone does) and even listens for other phones nearby also running the app via Bluetooth/WiFi.
From there and other tools it’s easy to return a list of every picture from a particular geographic boundary from a certain date and time. The social media probably also has names, hometowns and phone numbers already associated. Since the apps know where you are, they can match a spouse to a common location where you spend a lot of time, or where the phone doesn’t change location during the night to get a good idea of your home address.
It is insidious how much personal data is voluntarily given up to social media and other tech companies.

I think it was a case that they simply got caught up in the moment. I suspect that almost none of those who were actually at the speech had any notion of doing what they did later... and of course most did not get caught up in it and a review of the timeline shows that. It seems that Antifa lead the charge and there were some there (not Antifa) who were not at the speech (or left early?) and thought to themselves when they saw a group leading the charge... “Oh...it’s happening and I guess I’ll get on board” and they did it without questioning what they were actually doing.
So if we want reality to return, we have to start using real cameras...
So how many people went into the Capitol building that day?
Kinda curious, since many said they were directly invited to come in by Security.
How would they know they had broken any law?

The only thing that makes sense is it was a false flag action designed to impugn Trump, his supporters, and totally destroy freedom. It worked wonderfully. Then it was embellished by their new claims that they were trying to capture and kill Congresscritters and Pence.
Douglas Jensen will undoubtedly be of of the first inside Federal PMITAP for his stupidity.
In its place, they gifted the Left the propaganda win of a lifetime.
The FBI had a lot of practice over the summer using social media ‘selfies’ to track down and prosecute violent BLM and Antifa members.
Oh, wait...
IF they moved against those actions as quickly as this it would have saved a lot of problems.
I would not be surprised after the FBI shot up the concert at the Vegas Massacre. They are rotten to the core
