The House this week will take up a resolution to impeach President Donald Trump for the second time in less than two years over his actions encouraging a mob that stormed the Capitol, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.
“In protecting our Constitution and our Democracy, we will act with urgency, because this President represents an imminent threat to both,” Pelosi said in a letter Sunday to House Democrats. “As the days go by, the horror of the ongoing assault on our democracy perpetrated by this President is intensified and so is the immediate need for action.”
Pelosi said Democratic leaders on Monday will request unanimous consent for a separate resolution urging Vice President Mike Pence to convene the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution “to declare the President incapable of executing the duties of his office.” She said Pence should respond within 24 hours.

Not gonna happen. Impeachment confirmation in the Senate is also not possible as the Senate cannot even convene until 1/20. And even if they could convene POTUS could run out the clich on hid defense.

The minute the Insurrection Act was signed the military of which Trump is the CIC took command. That’s how these things work. In coming days expect to see Trump adjourn both houses of congress, arrest a good number of them, take control of the airwaves I.e. one tv station, take control of the social media bad actors, Institute curfews, maybe rationing. There will be riots and a lot of violence. These commies aren’t going down without a fight. Maybe some electrical blackouts etc. This is very serious stuff.

Working for 25 years in Corrections makes you question everything, not just from the inmates, but from staff as well. It also made me very security conscious, something I've never gotten over, and it still makes me cringe when I see someone, mostly women do stupid things like leave their purses unattended to go roaming around the produce area. I'm a female, and I used to say something to them, politely telling them that they were leaving themselves open to becoming a victim, but after some of them gave me looks like I was a thief, I stopped saying anything.
