Amazon's suspension of Parler's account means that unless it can find another host, once the ban takes effect on Sunday Parler will go offline.

Amazon on Saturday kicked Parler off its Web hosting services. Parler, a social network favored by conservative politicians and extremists, was used to help plan and coordinate the January 6 attempted coup on Washington D.C. It has recently been overrun with messages encouraging “Patriots” to march on Washington D.C. with weapons on January 19.

Amazon's suspension of Parler's account means that once the ban takes effect on Sunday Parler will be offline until it finds someone else to host it.

Amazon declined to comment on the suspension. Parler has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.

We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.

This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.

More Info: Parler CEO Says Service Dropped By “Every Vendor” And Could End His Business

"....Parler CEO John Matze said today that his company has been dropped by virtually all of its business alliances after Amazon, Apple and Google ended their agreements with the social media service.

“Every vendor from text message services to email providers to our lawyers all ditched us too on the same day,” Matze said today on Fox News.

Matze conceded that the bans could put the company out of business while raising free speech issues, calling it “an assault on everybody.”

“They all work together to make sure at the same time we would lose access to not only our apps, but they’re actually shutting all of our servers off tonight, off the internet,” Matze said. “They made an attempt to not only kill the app, but to actually destroy the entire company. And it’s not just these three companies. Every vendor from text message services to email providers to our lawyers all ditched us too on the same day.”...."

This is a partial transcript of a Fox News show with Maria Bartiromo.

I never liked Amazon. Thus I am not on it or use it. I like brick and mortar stores.

I have never been on twitter or FB. I just like it here even though most are not thrilled with my opinions and position on this election.

We live in a Communist and Fascist country now. We share oxygen with Commie-Nazis just as predicted in The Simpsons.

This coordinated attack by Big Tech has to run afoul of so many business laws like restraint of trade, breach of contract, anticompetitive business practices, etc. that there have to be lawyers that work for these companies that are having a fit.

Check out this page from the federal FTC webpage:
source https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/anticompetitive-practices

Anticompetitive Practices
The FTC takes action to stop and prevent unfair business practices that are likely to reduce competition and lead to higher prices, reduced quality or levels of service, or less innovation. Anticompetitive practices include activities like price fixing, group boycotts, and exclusionary exclusive dealing contracts or trade association rules, and are generally grouped into two types:

The FTC generally pursues anticompetitive conduct as violations of Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, which bans “unfair methods of competition” and “unfair or deceptive acts or practices.”

Don’t mean to be a buzzkill, but Trump had four years to deal with these commie social media groups, and to go hard-ass on election reform. He knew they were trouble in 2016 and talked about the threat often.

Chris Kobach checked into the election corruption for a couple months, and then it ended.

these big tech billionaires won’t pay the consequence for this, they pay off to many politicians and they’re all working for China.

Someone needs to muzzle effing Lin Wood!

Robert Barns, esteemed lawyer, repeated something that Wood said to other lawyers about how he (wood) was the second coming - it was nuts. After seeing him tweet to not vote GOP in GA, that Pence should be executed, and that Trump was being held and would be executed - he needs to be in an asylum instead of posting as a Trump supporter.

Republicans always want to know where it all went wrong for them.

I live in a Trump+30 district, a red county with veterans and active duty. Yet, there’s a Democratic superintendent, and she decided we all needed her to tell us the protest was an attack on our country in a msg.

Point being, even in the reddest of counties, the schools and election officials are dominated by liberals, and not moderate ones.

These are people in charge of education and elections who fundamentally do not understand basic principles in the Bill of Rights

Amazon doesn’t own the OC 12 lines that feed their data centers, knock them off by denying them access to the fiber , that’s a regulated utility and can’t discriminate.

It seemed it went down and is now back up from my end.

Anyone know if Parler has a backup to Amazon’s AWS?
