There is no doubt that Free Republic will be a target of the Blob. They will pressure the current Internet Service Provider, if it's based in the US, to cancel service based upon alleged threats of violence uttered by some.

For this reason, I hope & highly recommend that a back up service provider be procured. There are other sites that have successfully obtained ISP's in Iceland because Iceland actually respects free speech.

Or rather somewhere in DNS is a master record or records for free republic.com. If those providers remove that entry on the grounds of violations of terms of service game over.

I installed Surfshark (rated #3 by most) a couple years ago and have had no issues.
