Education Secretary Betsy DeVos resigned Thursday night, blaming President Donald Trump for rhetoric that fueled the invasion of the U.S. Capitol by a mob of Trump suppporters.
DeVos is the second member of Trump’s cabinet to quit because of the riot Wednesday.
Earlier Thursday, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao said she would resign.
Chao is the wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who refused to endorse Trump’s efforts to have Congress block the confirmation of Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential vote in the Electoral College.
A number of other Trump administration officials have quit since Wednesday.
F’n disloyal turn coat Pieces of feces. Rats jumping ship. Them buying “It was Trump’s fault.” is like nearly every major corporation in the country kneeling to $blm and agreeing they were part of systemic racism. Whatever that is. I must have misplaced my copy of “Guide to Effecive Systemic Racism”. Disgusted. Sad to say I took the flag down today and folded it and put it away.
Once again, we see Trump surrounded himself with shallow, political, spineless cucks. This has been a theme for 4 years.
I’m not blaming him. He’s an outsider, he didn’t have the deep-state bench and farm team. And yet after getting burned, time and again, it keeps happening. Did he actually believe he could control them?

Cabinet secretaries must be confirmed by the Senate. Mitch McConnell basically picked them all for President Trump.
I don’t see it that way. President Trump was reelected for another four year term. I still believe he has options that have not been used. Would they work? Would he succeed? Probably not. But the fact is Trump is quitting.
It may be selfish of me to say this, but I would rather see him frog marched out of the White House and placed under arrest then to see this humiliating defeat that’s currently taking place.
What exactly has Trump quit on? He has fought to the bitter end and is still being lied about and betrayed by everyone in DC. How did he quit??
If the story coming out of Italy has legs, there are going to be a lot of red faced fools who threw away the very future they are now seeking....relevance.

Rush was back on the air today. It was good to hear him again, and he made this exact point. Repukes who don’t “repudiate” President Trump won’t find Swamp work after he leaves office!
