President Trump officially conceded in a video released today. This is unfortunate as my hope was he was continuing to fight. I was wrong. And that may be a good thing, which I’ll talk about below. First, here’s the President’s speech.

President Trump should do a “John Adams” and get out of DC before the fraudulent inauguration of the Delaware Dunce takes place. The thought of seeing President Trump on the platform having to listen to a sham of an inaugural speech from that senile buffoon I call the Delaware Dunce makes me sick!
Not a Concession.
If Joe and Kamkam committed fraud to win and Congress knowingly accepts the fraudulent outcome, they are the traitors.
It reminds me of the movie Raging Bull. Lamotta gets pummeled and loses to Sugar Ray but is proud to say “You never knocked me down Ray.” That’s how Trump must feel. He took so much punishment for 4 years but he survived and they never knocked him down.
I say we make January 20th a national liberation day for all remaining registered Republicans to change their affiliation to independent! The GOP is certainly the loser in all this, and no doubt in the weeks ahead there will be reports of significant numbers of Republican voters changing their party affiliation.
The country didn’t really survive Obama...or Bush for that matter. The country is a shadow of its former self. Enemies won’t only be from within. Any army could send a group of 40 well trained soldiers and take out the entire government. Yesterday proved that beyond any doubt. The country is so divided that a black lives matter wearing soldier could probably take out 20 congressmen all by himself.
I believe much of our national security has been compromised already. I have no doubt many of these DC Swamp Critters sold us out for a lot of money.
Leaving isn’t conceding. Its leaving. I’m being forced to leave on Jan 20 by lying cheats and crooks. I don’t think that’s what people think about when they speak of a concession. Concession is more like, good game, we fought tough, you came out on top. Good luck

And then the day came, and he strode out to the podium. An electricity filled the air as the assembled Patriots stood firm in their conviction of their righteousness, that now is the time, now is the moment, that it was 1776 once more, that The Storm is here, that Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming.
Instead of declaring a time for action, though, the President just recycled the same talking points he's been using for weeks, wished the crowd well in their way to the Capitol, and left!
He could have marched at the head of a Patriot formation down the Mall, flanked by loyal militia willing to lay down their lives for him. He could have demanded entrance to the Capitol and dared the Police to stop him as his Guard stood by, ready to enforce his will. He could have marched into the Rotunda, commandeered all the TV cameras, and addressed the nation in real time, dismissing the corrupt Electoral College results and declaring martial law until new elections could be held under the right circumstances.
Instead, he abandoned his most fervent supporters. After summoning them to DC with the promise of action, after weeks of assuring them that there would be evidence and that their cause was just, he releases a one minute video in that flat, dull monotone that says "they are making me read this" and tells everyone to go home.
He’s quitting the job we elected him to do, but he’s not conceding? He’s preparing for Joe Biden to take his place, but God forbid we should use the word concession?
Semantics. Play with words all you want to but the end result is still a humiliating defeat."

Words, and context, do matter though.
1. He's not "quitting." After the 4 year coup against him, with probably 95% of government constantly plotting against him, undermining him....he's not "quitting" now.
2. He's being forced out. There is no other path forward for him. At this point, if he refuses to leave the White House on Jan 20th, they will literally arrest him and walk him out in handcuffs. Do we REALLY want that to happen to him? To see that run all over the news around the world for years to come? No, "we" don't.
3. He chooses not to use the word "conceded," because that has meaning in politics. Using the word "concede" means he accepts the outcome of the election and he accepts the person replacing him as legitimate....which he doesn't (nor should he, or we).
He's simply leaving office because he has no remaining support in the government.
He's being exiled from office.

In reading your post, what knitted together in my mind was the President’s, “...our incredible journey is only just beginning,” with “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
No judge will swear Trump in on January 20th.
He lost. It is time to move on.
Biden is the new President.
He could have, if this were a video game.
How many were armed and ready to shoot someone...anyone who they perceived was against them? With no uniforms or legitimate identifiers, how could they tell who was against them? We know plenty of aunty fa dressed as Trump supporters.
How many told their friends and families, they were going to the capital, prepared to die. Less than a dozen, maybe.
There is no one left in government who supports him.
It's a fantasy to think, at this moment in time that enough people will arm up and prepare to die. That time might...might arrive within the next 4 years though. But not now. While there are indeed upwards of ~75 million pissed of Americans, there is no where near ~75 million desperate Americans willing to lay it all on the line. We would have seen indications of that across the country by now.
Now we know what a political exil looks like in this country.
