A hood. Or a receding hairline.
There are 10 offices with rifles behind her.
The officer who shot was behind a barricade and locked doors.
He had zero reasonable fear for his life, and ample ability to retreat (as is the law in Washington DC).
It’s murder.
Of course, it doesn’t matter because she is white.
White lives don’t matter.
Yeah, she was surrounded by heavily armed police officers in riot gear and they were not making any moves to stop or restrain her. A couple officers covered her as if she was the one being attacked.

Not what I see. No gloves, is brown skin below and above bracelet. No definite hood, is large black mask or bandito-style mask covering nose/mouth/chin/neck. Rounded head and forehead with medium brown forehead skin with receding hairline and short black with gray hair. Angle and distance of shot was close, and backdrop beyond target probably seemed low risk to shooter (was toward the door and wall behind intended target). Pretty callous shot, though. Could have moved forward and bashed her with gun to discourage coming through, instead of just shooting. Cold.
Got that right
Rarely, when an inexperienced person truly feels their life is in danger, is one and only one shot fired. Most people involved in say a home invasion shooting, when asked how many times they fired, will answer two or three, when in fact they emptied their entire magazine.
Also, rarely in police shootings, is only one round fired.
The fact of the matter is, when anyone truly feels like their life is in danger, rarely is only one shot fired. I do not believe this person truly felt his life was in danger.
Sounds like there should be new rules of engagement for Antifa/BLM.

Murder. Within three seconds of the shot, as the video pans, we see there were 10 or more police just 10 to 20 feet from her.

For the life of me, I cannot see WHY a 14-year airforce veteran would knowingly risk so much this way. Her past videos were against rioting, violence, and looters. So this behavior makes no sense. If her maiden name is revealed, maybe we can locate her on veteran searches then.

Looking at the circumstances today. Ashli was attempting to breach a barricaded door/window after it had been smashed. The guy with the pistol was trained to protect whomever was on the other side of that barricade.
I personally think the cops on the same side as Ashli should have snatched her out of that window...to save her life, knowing if she made it through she’d likely be shot.
The guy who shot her didn’t know whether she was a dude or a chick. How would he? She was covered up. How did he know what the intent of this person was?
Not taking up for the shooter cuz I think deadly force was a bit over the top, but damn people, think about what YOU would do if you were faced with people coming into your place, tearing stuff up, smashing windows then as a last resort, your back against the wall in a make shift barricade...someone breaches it.
Hmmm. It was unfortunate Ashli was shot and killed. Ashli should have made a better choice.

Not much angle on the shot - the door he was shooting from was directly in line with the stairs and she was slightly to the left of the stairway. She was being followed up the stairs by at least 5 police officers and there was another police officer a few feet to her left in the hallway.
Not only was shooters line of fire not clear, there were a lot of officers in the line of fire.
Bad shoot at best but thinking it's worse than that
I would surmise that the police coming from the rear were not visible to those on the other side, there were several people at the barricade, and she tried to get through.
These are USCP or some other/similar security personnel who are charged with the protection of members of Congress. They could have had Schumer behind them, or AOC, or Hawley, or Gaetz. It doesn’t matter, ours our theirs.
If there’s a security breach in the halls of Congress, I want the kid gloves taken off by those defending them.
I’m retired USAF myself. One of the things we get trained in is protection of the President, and other leaders, including congresscritters. Frankly, she should have known better than to do something like this. 14 years in service, she got the training multiple times.
I’m also surprised there weren’t more shots fired. Maybe because she was the first through the breach, and no one else followed her in. Hate to say it, but I don’t think there is going to be a trial, since she could quite reasonably be considered a threat.
The shooter had no legal basis for firing that shot.
