As the last line of defense of the Republic seems to be crumbling. With full federal government control -- the Republic will be permanently lost if Trump's reelection is permitted to be stolen

Now that the Georgia Senate seats appear to be unsurprisingly lost, we must ask: how many once reliably conservative states must be flipped before the cretinous Republican Party realizes that you can have cheap imported foreign labor, or you can have a stable universal suffrage republic, but you can't have both? Perhaps today Senate and House Republicans will realize that the President is America's last line of defense. Perhaps they will realize this is it. Lose Trump and it's game over for a long time. Perhaps, but probably not.

With full federal government control -- a second time after Obama's horrid 2008-2010 period -- the Republic will be permanently lost if Trump's reelection is permitted to be stolen.

At minimum, every Republican congressman or senator who votes to certify the disputed state Biden electors should be marked for political extinction. And should know that fact when they vote today in joint session.

Let me see, here are the states we've lost to the coming one-party Democrat America since the US chamber of Commerce under Papa Bush came to dominate the Republican Party:

In no particular order, California, from competitive to deep blue, Virginia, from dark red to solid blue; Colorado from dark red to solid blue; Nevada from dark red to pretty blue; North Carolina, from dark red to a coin flip; Florida, from dark red to a coin flip; and now, Arizona and Georgia, from dark red to trending Left.

Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell and other feeble, treasonous Republicans can be counted on to say that we're doing "better" among third world, rent-seeking immigrants, and, yes, Trump (not the Republican Party) did, ever so slightly.

Here is what we can forsee for the USA when Chuck Schumer becomes majority leader of Senate:

* Washington DC and Puerto Rico become US States giving the Democrats 4 additional senate seats. This assures them a permanent majority in the upper house.

* Packing of the Supreme Court. With the Senate controlled permanently by Democrats, you can be certain that there will be more Justices like Ginsburg in the Supreme Court

* Amnesty for millions of illegals, ensuring a permanent voting base for Democrats everywhere.

* Medicare for all ( including illegals who will qualify ). Remember, all Democrat candidates for President raised their hands when asked if illegals will be covered by healthcare.

* A return to the Obama foreign policy of appeasing Iran and distancing from Israel.

* A strengthened China, with more “foreign students” ( note the quotes ) accepted in our universities to spy and steal our technology.

The formalization of the New Green Deal. Fracking slowly banned. Expect INCREASES in oil and gas prices and more expenses for businesses to make their offices and premises more “green”.

* A federal mandate to make Covid-19 vaccination compulsory for “the good of the country”.

with the above item, we can foresee the following:

- Permanent travel bans for all but the elite.

- Eradication of small business/middle class

- Monitoring and control of many aspects of your life to “prevent” the spreading of the virus as more mutations come to light.

In other words, the United States of America that we used to know is gone.

Am I exaggerating ? Give me your thoughts.

The Republic was over on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when BOTH parties abrogated the Constitution by swearing in an ineligible Kenyan from Indonesia.

The reality is America has lost. What we went through the last four years was just the death rattle. The Right has no fight.

Agreed. As a member of DAR, will I now be considered a public enemy?

Well, we lasted 228 years as a constitutional republic, which is not a bad run. We are now firmly in the grasp of a post-constitutional, totalitarian, Marxist cabal.

You forgot to add that eventually governance would be handed over to the UN!

I’m not crazy about the election results, but some of the articles and discussions are just as wretched as democrats claiming republicans are shoving granny in her wheelchair over the cliff. N

Trump just tweeted

They just happened to find 50,000 ballots late last night. The USA is embarrassed by fools. Our Election Process is worse than that of third world countries!

Mike Pence don’t be a squish, fight for the Constitution
and fight for Trump

The Repugnant/Republican career politicians would have been voted out years ago if conservatives actually meant what they said.

But we keep putting these RINOs back in office which means we're nothing but bluff and bluster.

Like the ineffectual parent who warns his unruly child, "I'm gonna count to ten!" for the umpteenth time.

As we found in 2020, Hispanics are not lockstep liberals. Puerto Rico can vote R.

No my friend this is it. We are finally on the bridge. There comes a tipping point in every republic. We are there. This is not 2008 or 2012. You had better pray Trump has the fortitude to take executive action. I think he will. First he has to let all the bad players unmask themselves which they are doing. Then make sure the public sees all the evidence which he is doing. The public has to be onboard when Trump makes his move.

Excellent analogy, and to help prevent that, we deregistered from voting since all it leads to is legitimizing the communist declaration of who they chose to win.

The eGOP is complicit in this communist take over. They are one and the same. There are maybe 15% of the GOP nationwide that are true to America, but the rest sellout every time they get a chance.

Agreed. Most of that crap won’t happen because, the Senate won’t do away with the filibuster. Manchin has already said he wouldn’t vote for that.

But, would he support statehood for PR and DC? Maybe. Amnesty? Maybe.. For sure, a ton of things that we won’t like.

But, I think our problems are bigger than that. VOTING, the way we now do it, is simply no longer a legitimate way to conduct business. I don’t accept it, at all. And, I don’t think I’m alone.

I’m not sure where that leaves us?

That’s exactly correct and V.P. Dick Chaney was our last hope then. This was obvious to most of us here who participated in the “birther threads”.

I don't think they can do much without a full-court press against our RKBA - this will trigger a Concord-bridge response.

If we lose our arms we are goners. This must be the line-in-the-sand.

Agreed and when the author mentions Virginia, sure in a time like 1984, even places like Richmond and Fairfax probably voted Republican that good deal more, but those were likely ones that acted a good deal like Democrats. And the same could be said about places like Denver (Colorado) or Las Vegas (Nevada) or Phoenix (Arizona).
