Cotton warned that if Congress threw out the electoral votes of states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where President Trump has alleged without evidence widespread election fraud, it would “take away the power to choose the president from the people.”
He said it would imperil the Electoral College and the voice it gives to smaller states like Arkansas and help Democrats “achieve their longstanding goal of eliminating the Electoral College.”
He said Congress if overrides the Electoral College’s vote, it would “take another big step toward federalizing election law.”
“Thus, I will not oppose the counting of certified electoral votes on Jan. 6,” he said.

The mechanism to fix the election fiasco is in the state legislatures, not Congress.
When I cast a vote for President of the United States, the last thing I want is to have a bucket full of @ssholes in Congress override it. And that sentiment cuts across party lines, too.

I’ve never trusted Cotton because he was trying to sabotage Trump’s campaign in the summer of 2016. He attended a summit or something off the Carolina coast where they were trying to find a way to make sure Trump didn’t win.
The evidence is there - and Trump will no doubt have more things to reveal over the next 3 days.
My worry this morning is that Dems & Deep State have something planned over the next 48 hours to take everyone's attention off the 6th. What will they try as a "Squirrel!" tactic? An explosion in Atlanta? A riot near MaraLago?
