I think this is an example of the pathology of Twitter. Instead of replying on Twitter, Mr. Sandmann might have emailed Mr. Wood to the effect of, “Hey, Mr. Wood, are you okay? Is there something we can do to help you?” Public engagement like this isn’t edifying.
Lin has either totally lost his mind or he’s playing some stupid game for whatever reason, but he’s no help to Trump.
