So Trump has Mnuchin negotiate the Covid bill with his blessing, and in full coordination with McConnell and Loeffler.....then at the last minute, sides with Pelosi and hands GA Dems a huge gift by blowing up the bill and undercutting the position of the GA Repubs running in that race (again with Trumps full blessing BEFORE the bill was agreed to).
Now Ossof and Warnock are seizing on Trumps veto threat to attack Loeffler and Perdue. Its a Trump/Ossof/Warnock alliance to spend more money.
Maybe I’m missing the “brilliance” of this strategy.

All that Republicans who are in office or running for office need to do is fully back the $2,000 per American immediately and then it will all move forward perfectly well and they will all look good.
How is everyone getting away with distorting what Trump said?
He NEVER said do a standalone 2,000 dollar stimulus check bill.
He said that there were many billions of dollars in that 5,000 pages that were going to things that had NOTHING to do with COVID.
He said a lot of that could get chopped and given to the American people.
He’s right.
A GOP candidate who opposes this while at the same time supporting a massive, bloated omnibus spending bill that pisses away hundreds of billions of dollars on useless sh!t is making one of the dumbest political moves of the last fifty years.
But there’s 750 BILLION going towards mostly garbage and we’re all good with that! :)
Oh yeah the glorified PPP...which will end up in congressmen’s hands, their family’s hands, their family’s business hands, big corporations’ hands, organized crime’s hands, disorganized crime’s hands...and a few bucks will get to where it was supposed to go...
And if I have read what southerners and heartland folks have been saying for months correctly, that’s almost ALL coastal companies in blue states...so we’re supporting those state government perpetrating the fraud that is COVID.
How about now stimulus?
States will either live or die by their decisions.

It’s not surprising for the Dems. What’s sort of surprising is Trump stabbing Loeffler and Perdue in the back by sinking the bill and having them take the blame for voting for it, an arrangement that Trump previously supported.
