Hospitals in Southern California are so overrun by COVID-19 cases that doctors are running low on supplies of oxygen, infected patients are forced to wait eight hours in ambulances before they can enter an emergency room, and intensive care units are fully booked with no more beds available.
The skyrocketing surge in COVID-19 cases is raising suspicions among public health officials in Los Angeles County that a new, more contagious variant of the coronavirus is fueling the outbreak.
California's deadly Christmas was marked by pleas to avoid holiday gatherings outside the home and indoor church services in what could be a make-or-break effort to curb a coronavirus surge that already has filled some hospitals well beyond normal capacity.

There must be bodies everywhere.
Funny we have been LOCKED DOWN and MASKED for a year now YET it doesn’t seem to be working I guess the experts don’t know what the hell they are talking about!!!
How many portable O2 generators can generate 60 l/m?
Agreed. Thought I was on a 3rd Reich fan site at first from some of those comments.
They must be non-military people as they are advocating abandoning and leaving behind all their troops behind the lines.
Agree with all your points. Special attention to the overlooked judicial activism.
The big secret is how red California really is.
No one in the chattering classes will admit it.
And the Dem doofuses can’t understand cause and effect and why their soiling of their own nest is causing people to flee this place in droves.
They are in reefer trailers in the hospital parking lots.
Have you seen them?
People are still in a mood that the government and media are
blowing this out for political gain.
With hospitals full, I think they need to start imagining
they are in charge, and have to deal with the patients there
is no room for, and deaths.
How would they handle it?
There aren’t any super-duper options right now.
I have seen a couple Trailers at Kaiser..but I haven’t been around many other hospitals lately. (Crossed fingers).
Bodies? Only one, yesterday the lady across the street from me was removed from her home bagged and tagged. All the FD at the scene were shooed away by the fully PPE’d guys bringing her out on the gurney.
You’ve seen one body, and you don’t know the circumstances.
I am trying to find people who have seen many bodies from the COVID.
I watched as the LAFD arrived and two firefighters (masks and gloves) approached the door. They were talking to the husband. They then went back to their truck and more arrived - no sirens. Two full PPE’d (Head to Toe, scary - looked like a scene from a movie) paramedics then retrieved their gurney from the back of their truck and went into the house. No other LAFD (masks and gloves) went anywhere near the Paramedic truck or house and were waved way off by the paramedics when they brought her out on the gurney. Bag was white and zipped closed. I didn’t watch anymore after that.
Wow
You sound like someone who knows what they’re talking about !
Why would someone need 60 l/m when that would be boarder line malpractice ?
Nice try.bet you wear your mask in the shower too.
Pulmonary oxygen toxicity: High concentrations of oxygen (>60%) may damage the alveolar membrane when inhaled for more than 48 hours. Progression to the adult respiratory distress syndrome with high protein alveolar oedema and pulmonary radiographic infiltrates is associated with high mortality

Covid patients are requiring 10 times the usual amount. Alternative therapy to intubation. Reported recently in technical journal and news article. Sorry you are ignorant.
We all view the world through different minds.
Did they quarantine the house?
The husband?
Where are all the bodies from COVID?
You obviously have zero basic knowledge as to what this virus does to people yet comment anyway. Why do that?
Well buddy
If you want to help me with my ignorance
Post your documentation,,journal reference ,ect.,
to support your assertion,,,,I did.
You mean Max of 60 l/m is no longer the limit of prolonged treatment ?,. That covid requires x 10 of that ? So 600 l/m is no longer lethal ?
I also noticed you didn’t state if you actually have
accredited training,,, just that your not grasping anti- intelligence like I am.
You defend some urinalist claim there is a oxygen shortage with zero supporting data and call anyone who questions , or flat out don’t buy a damn thing said about covid hysteria anymore , ignorant.
How progressive !
That try sucked, try again with some verifiable data or info that you in fact are a medical worker of some sort.
Do you sell oxygen ?
Gavin gave china a billion for f*-n ! masks that never showed up,,,maybe you think we should give china another billion for some oxygen?
There is no oxygen shortage.
Prove me wrong.
I’ll wait.
God knows, I don’t want to be ignorant.
And if you can prove me wrong, I’ll concede the point and eat crow.
I detested Trump,,till my first crow pie the first, and almost every now, day of his in office.
Trump taught me to love crow pie
(and him too btw ),
so if you got some crow pie for me , dish it up.
My bet, you won’t, if anything you’ll just post back with zero proof of your assertions or mention of training.
Just more attempts to demean and insult and intimidate me into believing the latest covid cult crap spewed by some proven media urinalist.
Tell me your a nurse or a doctor or EMT and I’ll even believe you now, and start gulping down that crow pie.
But don’t expect me to believe the covid media about Jack sh!t.
What ?
No crow pie for me ?
Thought so.
I waited 6 hours in the ER waiting room with a ruptured appendix in CA. That was almost 20 years ago. Sounds like nothing has changed. Way too many people in CA are on government healthcare, so they don’t pay anything for going to the ER, so they go to the ER for NOTHING.
