Bill Barr started his term as President Trump’s second attorney general maligned by the left and is ending it under attack from both sides. But the man is a class act who has consistently done the nation great service.
Barr announced his resignation, with a departure date of Dec. 23, in a classy letter to the president.
Barr has done all he can to ensure those who abused their power to harm first candidate and then President Trump will be held accountable. In October, he made John Durham, the former US attorney he’d tasked with investigating the origins of the FBI “Russiagate” probe, a special counsel.
And it turns out he took great pains to avoid any potential Justice Department interference in the 2020 race. The Wall Street Journal reports, “Barr took more steps than previously reported” to “prevent word of investigations into Hunter Biden from becoming public.” Trump is angry that Barr kept the probe into Hunter’s shady overseas dealings quiet.
Trump also resents Barr’s refusal to support claims of major abuses that supposedly stole the election. FBI agents and US attorneys looked at many complaints, Barr said, but: “To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.” So much for the left’s insistence that the AG is a Trump toady.
Barr, 70, served as AG under President George H.W. Bush but answered the second call to service when it came.
Thank you for your service, sir.

so the way to gather praise for one’s efforts as a government employee is to do nothing. who knew?
The stench of swamp slime is strong with Barr.
None of the left’s plans work without a cooperating attorney general.
He had Epstein and has Epstein’s right hand woman. And not one of the fiends from lolita island will spend any time in prison.
Bill Barr is simply a despicable man and flat out traitor to freedom, good, and the United States.
He’s a class A deep state asshole!
BILL BARR - Just what the Deep State ordered.

Did you notice the pattern over the years?
Some of them did it better than others, but the trick was to come in roaring like a lion. This was to appease all the swamp-drainer constituents and buy time.
These people treat their public service leaders like diplomats treat their more problematic liaisons. They string them along all the while stopping short of making explicit promises, just to buy time, and to stay embedded.
Barr himself said he was going to do the right thing no matter how unpopular it was.
Here we are with massive evidence of thousands of felonies related to the election and Barr says there is nothing to see.
It is difficult to balance these two facts isn’t it?
If the NY Post considers Barr to be a “class act” what
do they consider Eric Holder to be?
Somebody post the BS meter. . . .
Just another fat Swamp Rat.
Bagpipe Barr is a classless act
And Barr let Hunters laptop slip on by!
And Barr let the FBI corruption to continue!
And Barr let massive election fraud slip on by!
And Barr let the crooked Dominion machines slip on by!And Barr played the bagpipes!
What a guy? Only I would call him a classless ass not a class act!!!
He has plenty of company, seems like we can count on one hand the patriots.
Sgt Shultz.

The sound of Swamp Barr on his bagpipes.
Boy howdy!!!!
Barr is class A backstabbing swamp rat through and through, who has done nothing to combat government corruption.
... The Wall Street Journal reports, "Barr took more steps than previously reported” to “prevent word of investigations into Hunter Biden from becoming public." ...
Barr’s refusal to support claims of major abuses that supposedly stole the election.
Ok, so let's make sure we got all of that ... pro-Biden and ... anti-Trump. Got it.
IOW, he seems to be another RINO member of the Democrat Party Cabal. FYI: Barr previously served in the George H. W. Bush Uniparty administration. Nuff said.
And yet the President did not fire him. Bei g fired by Trump would have been a huge resume enhancement. I’m sure at his age he will find slot of offers just because of what he has learned during his service as AG.
