Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell congratulated Democrat Joe Biden on Tuesday, calling him the president-elect and saying the Electoral College “has spoken.”

Why? His statement reflects reality unlike the countless, “The Storm is Coming,”, mass arrests and seized servers in Germany, which of course never happened. It’s a shame Trump lost, a tragedy really, but those who thought it was a slam dunk and a 50 state sweep lived in their own fantasy world. It was going to be a close race and it was. The time to catch fraud is before the vote and not after. Lesson learned.

Therefore this does NOT surprise me at all.
Mike Pence on the other hand, will preside over the Joint Session on Electors, not The Turtle.
With Turtle and Biden, they will get along, they both eat copious amounts of Egg Foo Yung from the same trough.
I’m hoping this is just a procedural nicety he is playing out.
On the other hand it could be a sign the rug is being pulled out from under Trump and Pence will be a “bipartisan” and give a thumbs down on Jan 6th.
If the latter is correct, not only is the country doomed, but so is the Republican party. And these clowns best understand the 80 million plus that voted for Trump, along with several million left in the dark about Biden/ChiCom as well as the Russian collusion investigation, will all be pissed.
