Update (1515ET): Just twelve hours after it was filed, the US Supreme Court has officially put Texas's lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin on the docket, meaning the case will be heard.

Just for the sake of discussion, would the SCOTUS be guilty of activism by fashioning a remedy that resulted in a contingent election?
Wouldn't it be ironic if he challenged his own state government?
Not sure....and, YES, it would be GLORIOUS if the GA AG joined in the TX AG suit.....to fight his own state!!!
Anyone out there from Georgia?
What would it take to get your state to join the growing coalition for the truth?
It’s been reported that Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and South Dakota are joining Texas in this suit, maybe more to follow.
They address this in the filing. I didn't really understand their argument to get around it.
Part of the filing argues that the USSC is the only place that Texas can find relief within the time frame involved. But, there is a part of the process during the EV counting where states can object to the counting of certain states votes. If the USSC wants to punt, I can see them hanging their hat on that (and seems relevant to your political question view).
Headline is wrong. Supreme Court’s website is right
“Here are the Republican Attorneys General:”
NO WAY Montana will join this cause.
Though our ‘AG’ is a rEpublican, he’s the bonafide running mate of our diabolical gOvernor Bullock (received the exact amount of delegates in the Dem, primary as Commie Harris).
Will NEVER happen.
“HOW can ANY of them not vote the same????”

I reads somewhere late yesterday that the SCOTUS vote to even take up the TX case was 6-3...
But, John Souter Roberts says there are no political Justices...haha
Ands I’m sick and tired of hearing that scotus might not take it up because they don’t want to get involved in elections. TOO BAD.....that’s your job....DO YOUR JOB.
How many of those 4 states have a democrat Legislature? I imagine if were up to them, they would pick Biden anyway?
It doesn’t look like Arizona, Idaho or Wyoming have joined yet.
None.
If this matter makes it to the whole court, Justice Thomas will make his decision based on the law and not on personal grudges. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know the man.
Texas filed the suit. If it gets to oral arguments then the Texas Solicitor General will argue it.
The Texas Solicitor General probably. Unless the Texas Attorney General decides to do it.
Kelly v. Pennsylvania was an appeal and the Supreme Court of hearing it or not. They declined to hear it. In Texas v. Pennsylvania the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction so they have to hear it.
It doesn’t look like Arizona, Idaho or Wyoming have joined yet.
They likely/hopefully will.
This is just a brief of support. I imagine these others will join in.
They better!!
Time to hound these AGs feet to the fire!

Now.....what about AR, OH and NH???? Have they joined, yet??
It didn't need a vote, the Supreme Court has to take the case.
Even if it had required approval I wouldn't put too much faith in four votes to grant cert. Every decision that went 9 to 0 against the plaintiff got at least four votes in order to make it on the calendar.
Dershowitz calls this suit a “Hail Mary” pass: https://justthenews.com/podcasts/water-cooler-david-brody/dershowitz-tx-case-against-pa-hail-mary
Other legal options are needed.
This shouldn’t be the proverbial basket for all of the eggs.
