Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) on Monday warned state lawmakers that they cannot appoint pro-Trump presidential electors.
Kemp said while speaking at the Biennial Institute for Georgia Legislators that legislators appointing their own electors was “not an option.”

Sorry, that’s above your pay grade gov...
He is factually incorrect - the US Constitution empowers the legislature to send whomever they want as Electors to the Electoral College.
But on top of that, Kemp has repeatedly proven that compared to him, the most RINO of RINOs is a godsend in comparison to him. This guy has done nothing but try to get Biden “elected” or, more accurately, “selected” by those who arranged The Steal. Why is anyone’s guess - but that he is a traitor to his party and to the nation as a whole. He is almost single-handedly stopping any moves to even find out if there is fraud, let alone to do anything meaningful about it. A pox on him!
Apparently someone hasn’t read the Constitution.

Thanks...you beat me to it.

recount showed Kennedy had actually prevailed, forcing the governor to sign the second certificate from the Democratic electors. Judge Ronald B. Jamieson ruled that the presidential election in Hawaii was won by President-elect Kennedy by a 115 vote margin.

The 1960 Election had Hawaii certifying 2 slates of Electors, it could have been decided in SCOTUS had Nixon not waived the slate through.
Maybe the Ga folks should surround his house for a while, like the Demorat morons.
But the Dominion machine will vote for him doesn’t matter if the electorate does not vote for him. Election insurance.
Sound about right.
Deep six that clown Kemp!
I believe they are afraid of being killed.
The deal they were offered was: "Silver or Lead".
We will need to outbid the people in the shadows. We don't have enough silver.
The scene looks exactly like a fire bomb went off and the target vehicle careened into two other vehicles.
This sort of thing can be conclusively proven or dis-proven fairly easily. Where are statements from the surviving and uninjured witnesses? Where is the report of the wreckage analysis?
Silence speaks volumes.
Gov Kemp - your opinion is duly noted and ignored.
Dear Governor - Article II of the U.S. Constitution says otherwise. As far as I know, Article II has not been repealed.
Thanks for your patience with the bad link. By the way, I haven’t been able to find any GOP officials’ responses to Kemp’s suspension of the US Constitution.
And the courts should rule that the legislature has the last word.
Imagine what should happen if a state legislature passed a bill mandating that the President shall serve for six years. It would have no effect. Similarly, a state election deciding that the President shall serve for six years would have no effect.
Ah but which word? Their word before the election? Or their word after it?
Imagine what should happen if a state legislature passed a bill mandating that the President shall serve for six years. It would have no effect. Similarly, a state election deciding that the President shall serve for six years would have no effect.
If a state legislature can throw out the slate of electors seated according to state law in effect before the election and substitute their own slate just because they want to then they can change the results of any presidential election on a whim. Where's the sense in that?
