WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court declined Monday to take up an appeal from parents in Oregon who want to prevent transgender students from using locker rooms and bathrooms of the gender with which they identify, rather than their sex assigned at birth.
The case came from a school district near Salem, Oregon’s capital city. The federal appeals court in San Francisco had upheld a Dallas, Oregon, school district policy that allows transgender students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity.
Parents sued over the policy in 2017, saying it caused embarrassment and stress.
A lower court refused to block the policy and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed that ruling, writing that the school district did not violate students’ constitutional rights or a law that protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs.
Similar lawsuits have been dismissed by courts in other parts of the country.

This is a huge mistake by the Supreme Court of the United States of America! Men who say they are women should not be allowed in women’s bathrooms and the same with women who say they are men should not be allowed in men’s bathrooms.
Heh, I recall from back in the 90s this one Democrat nitwit on a California city council (I seem to recall it was SF) expressing her outrage over someone giving testimony that faggots engaged in sodomy. She insisted that was not was homosexuals do.
But, yeah, it was always gonna go to the extreme when you consider that the engine behind the acceptance of homosexuality and it being championed in society is people who refuse to retain the knowledge of the Lord being turned over to reprobate minds.

So many in the so-called historic gay rights movement leadership have pursued minors and even joined NAMBLA.
Even Human Rights Campaign is so infested.

If his second term SCOTUS appointments are as "good" as the ones from his first term, that won't help much.
Perhaps conservatives should stop fawning over EVERY judge advertised as an "originalist" and immediately rubber stamping them to a lifetime tenure with no questions asked.
The big question is, what will parents do? Will they complain for a while and then go along with it, or will there be a mass exodus from the government school system?
I will bet that ‘Dallas’ really is ‘The Dalles’.
This is probably a valid result legally.
There is no constitutional right to have a one-sex bathroom. We do it because it is the right thing to do, not because the constitution requires it.
So, while our governments should be ALLOWED to restrict bathroom use based on waste organ type, they are not constitutionally required to do so.
