Georgia-based attorney Lin Wood is getting lots of attention for urging supporters of President Donald Trump to break with the president and not vote for GOP Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) in the upcoming January 5 runoff elections.
Wood’s public comments run counter to President Trump’s own public statements and wishes, as the president has repeatedly urged his supporters to support Loeffler and Perdue and is heading to Valdosta, Georgia, on Saturday to rally with the GOP senators. Wood’s comments are also in line with what top national Democrats are pushing for, as Breitbart News has reported a national anti-Trump Democrat Super PAC called “Really American PAC” is running billboards carrying a message nearly identical to what Wood is saying.
While Wood made his comments purportedly as a self-described supporter of Trump, while donning a red “Make America Great Again” ball cap, the real story here is that Wood is by no means a Republican and there is no record in Georgia of him ever voting for President Trump—in 2016 or in 2020—in the Republican primaries. While Wood did vote in the 2020 and 2016 general elections in Georgia—there are no records in Georgia of him pulling a GOP primary ballot in 2016 or 2020, the two years President Trump was on the ticket. Ironically, in both the 2020 and 2016 general elections, state records show that Wood voted absentee—by mail—in Georgia, the same system he is now railing against.

The article is misleading, at best. Past donations to a political party does not invalidate Mr. Wood’s sense of outrage in these cases, nor in the case of 45.

Lin Wood is working to find out what happened in the election in Georgia and support President Trump.
Lin Wood is smart enough to know that getting a special session of the Georgia Legislature would be a giant step towards success for the Trump efforts.
Pushing hard on the two Republican Senate candidates to get them to support looking in to the election mess in Georgia, and making the changes to prevent the same problems in the January runoff is important.
Neither of the Republicans will win in January unless they can disrupt the Democrat's scheme, whatever it was, legal or illegal, that let them record more votes for Joe Biden than Donald Trump.
Perdue and Loeffler need to do more than stand on the sidelines. Lin Wood gave them the perfect reason to get involved, make a statement, etc. Once they do something then they'll have the enthusiastic support of the people Lin Wood is speaking to.
The idiots at Breitbart are the ones working for the Democrats. Don't fall for it.
Whole lot of Republicans all across the country won, plus there is the matter of Trump personally asking people to turn out and vote for Purdue and Loeffler.

By not overcoming the election fraud and allowing Trump to realize his landslide victory, the country will doomed to dark days regardless of whom is elected to the senate. It sounds like you have already conceded the presidency to the Biden gang.
If Senate remains republican by a slim majority, democrats will use that as excuse for the tanking economy.
There are a ton of Rino's in senate, and a numerical majority by 1 or 2 ain't gonna make any difference without Veto power Trump has as president.

Throwing away two Senate seats away would leave Trump in a much weaker position in his second term. There is literally no upside... unless you are a Lefty.
Yes he is. President Trump has to support the senators because he is the leader of the party. At the same time these senators themselves are clearly NOT supporting the President as they are only interested in their own political power. So what Wood is doing and what we should be supporting is tying the senators election chances to their support or lack there of to President Trumps victory. So both President Trump and Lin Wood are doing the right thing. The only ones backstabbing our side is these two senators. These Senators are the ones who should be feeling our wrath.

There are people who want to call people weak minded because they readily align with whoever attacks someone or something they also don’t like, but those people calling them weak-minded, themselves read an article from Breitbart and it aligns everything in their own head so they have their own minds made up.

Don't be fooled. Lin Wood was pushing Perdue and Loeffler to do what they should be doing -- supporting a call for a special session of the legislature in Georgia. If they won't do that then they really don't care about the election, and they are likely to lose enough support that they will lose in January.
President Trump can't push them in public the same way. Lin Wood is the person who can. If the Republican Senate candidates show some support for election integrity then there is a chance that the problems in the November election won't be repeated in January.
Lin Wood is doing exactly what should be done to support President Trump's efforts and the two Republican senate candidates.
