Georgia-based attorney Lin Wood is getting lots of attention for urging supporters of President Donald Trump to break with the president and not vote for GOP Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) in the upcoming January 5 runoff elections.
Wood’s public comments run counter to President Trump’s own public statements and wishes, as the president has repeatedly urged his supporters to support Loeffler and Perdue and is heading to Valdosta, Georgia, on Saturday to rally with the GOP senators. Wood’s comments are also in line with what top national Democrats are pushing for, as Breitbart News has reported a national anti-Trump Democrat Super PAC called “Really American PAC” is running billboards carrying a message nearly identical to what Wood is saying.
While Wood made his comments purportedly as a self-described supporter of Trump, while donning a red “Make America Great Again” ball cap, the real story here is that Wood is by no means a Republican and there is no record in Georgia of him ever voting for President Trump—in 2016 or in 2020—in the Republican primaries. While Wood did vote in the 2020 and 2016 general elections in Georgia—there are no records in Georgia of him pulling a GOP primary ballot in 2016 or 2020, the two years President Trump was on the ticket. Ironically, in both the 2020 and 2016 general elections, state records show that Wood voted absentee—by mail—in Georgia, the same system he is now railing against.

I’ve forgotten the test there. Thanks for the mention.
My rule is to stay away from either snake.
Lets hope he’s on the up and up.
Which is why I did not vote for him in the PRIMARY - because he was not CONSERVATIVE and I was afraid he would run up the national debt!
Now - if I bring up the fact that HE HAS (even before COVID he sent his FY21 budget to congress with a $1 trillion deficit) - I'm a never Trumper - despite the fact I voted for him and supported him after he released his list of judges (which - BTW is on record here at FR).
Conservative principals no longer matter here in the Trump era. Everyone has sold their soul.
Odd that the current grifters running Breitbart don’t know that Andrew breitbart was a democrat for a large part of his life.
thanks for clarifying
Tell it, Girl.
If every republican alive or dead turn out to vote in Georgia, the Dominion systems will make sure their opponents receive more votes. If Trump could not win in Georgia, the 2 senators have much less chance to win.
Anyone wants to bet $25 donation to Free Republic that both republicans will win GA?
“I dont care what Perdue and Loeffler say they BOTH need to get in the Senate, otherwise you can kiss America goodbye, . . . “
Do you really believe that with a one or two vote majority in the Senate, Schumer won’t be able to persuade Romey, Collins, Murkowski, Sasse and one or two other Republicans to vote with the Democrats on key votes? What about lame ducks like Burr who is a good buddy of Mark Warner. Graham and Rubio will certainly cross the aisle to support amnesty.
Sorry D1. You’re wrong on this one.
See my post #16.
And much more than what the "chirpers" here on this thread are doing.
I know Conservatives who, living behind enemy lines in ‘Rat territory, *ALWAYS* pull ‘rat ballots in primaries so as to vote for the ‘Rat candidate easiest to beat. Living in areas where ‘Rats are enough in abundance to have primary choices, whereas Republican primaries only have one choice.
In this situation, their voting histories would show ALWAYS voting in the ‘Rat primary, while they then vote for the pub in the generals.
You are as astute thinker as me!
That was then this is now.
All the 2 RNOS have to do to unite Trump voters in GA is just demand
GA House and Senate call for a Special Session. Say it with conviction
and repeat it several times. What’s so hard about saying a few words?
Both the RINOs must EARN their votes. And they can begin that process
by saying a few words. Maybe they will do that when Trump comes to
town Saturday. For our sake, I hope they do.
I wonder how much of a windfall critical race theory will be for trial lawyers? How about reparations? How about Covid-19 suits against the deep pockets of school districts, to say nothing of businesses? The rest of the country would turn to ashes, but it would be good times indeed for the trial lawyers.
That may be how votes go in the Sinate, but there is the other big issue - who controls it. While the ‘Romney’s vote with the ‘Rats, they still will count towards choosing who controls the Sinate - and I want Mitch to, and not Shoe-mer.
Thanks for the mention.
We’ll see how it goes. I’m no expert in all this. You’d
need an event magazine to keep tabs of who is on which team
these days.
BS...Trump has gained and converted Democrats. The whole structure has changed. His reasoning for Not supporting the Senate Candidates as a tool to have them DEMAND AND SUPPORT the Governor to call Special Session....If Purdue and Loffler did that and he still said to not support would be different. WHY SHOULD WE SUPPORT ANY REPUBLICAN THAT IS NOT FIGHTING FOR TRUMP OR US.\....
Spot on!! 👏🏻👏🏻
this just proves how gullible freepers can be. freepers are absolute suckers for anyone loudly blaming the right people.
it’s embarrassing how easily people were conned.
No, the way you can tell is how much of their time and money they are investing in supporting the president, fighting the coup, and exposing the fraud. Not by whether they are supporting rino stooges of the CCP who may happen to call themselves republicans.
Now what? What do people want? Is he supposed to quit now? Beg Brietbart and Freepers for forgiveness?
If he loses his case then that increases Biden's chances of winning. Those are the only two outcomes. Our oppinions about who or how those outcomes are acheived are irrelevant.
So what do people want? To stop the overthrow of the country or feel good about how it is stopped?
