So much is redacted in this filing that it is hard to figure out what happened but I could see Rudy screwing something up going off half cocked.
Someone mentioned Pollard but he is out of prison. I think his name might be too long.
The easiest path to having a Constitutional question reviewed by SCOTUS was through the PA District Court case, which Rudy botched. He did not just botch it, be made it irreversible.
So, I am more suspicious than you.
As to who it was that was seeking the pardon, it is hard to tell. It could have been big name political cases like Stone or Flynn. Or it could have been some common criminal like Joe Exotic.
I am also puzzled by the fact that the court memorandum says dozens of tablets and phones have been seized. But I don’t recall anything about that in the news.
