New York is dangerously close to overwhelming its hospital system with new COVID-19 cases — and preparing to recruit retired doctors and nurses to the front lines again, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.
“It’s a new phase in the war against COVID,” Cuomo said — adding that daily coronavirus hospitalizations statewide are nearly quadruple what they were in June.

Why are cases surging in New York?
This guy was universally praised in the media, and by liberals, for his allegedly superior approach to the virus problem in his state. As contrasted with the alleged bumbling by Trump. Heck, Cuomo and his flunkies even wrote a book about how wonderful Cuomo was in handling the virus.
Against this backdrop, how in the sam hill can Cuomo and New York be having an upsurge in cases, when he allegedly was so brilliant in his handling of the virus????
I don’t think anyone, military or civilian, wants to go help New York. They charged people who did state income taxes!
All this grandstanding. Cuomo may be eyeing the presidency sometime in the future.
A nurse friend told my wife that once schools were shut-down in NY, 1/3 of the nurses at her hospital had scheduling problems, due to need to supervise their children.
Right, Kuomo. In March-June the hospitals were much less full, because the nursing homes were...

Not to mention when a nurse is positive or is near someone positive they staffing goes down again as they quarantine. Hospitals desperately need the Trump vaccine. Rumor is December 12th.
