You’re right, Don, if by “history books” you mean textbooks. Even if our side “wins,” this entire sordid episode will be omitted because we both know who writes today’s textbooks. There’ll be several paragraphs about boorish, devisive Pres. Trump and his racist, nationalist, white supremacist supporters and not a peep about election rigging by Democrats and their compliant GOP lickspittles. But never fear: there’ll be dozens of books written by both knowledgeable insiders and determined investigative reporters. I’ve got a half dozen books about post-WWII Communist infiltration of U.S. govt., Hollywood and education — infiltration that’s denied by the usual suspects even today.
Problem is the United States of America appears to have become a Third World narco-state type of country.
