I have been giving this more thought.

If the head of the GSA (and presumably her family) were receiving death threats (and I felt they could not be managed successfully), I would have ordered her to take a leave of absence from the job and declare the position vacant.

I would then appoint an acting person after I put them and their family in protective custody (and only after they had agreed to handle it, fully understanding the risks).

Then I would have refused to act to allow any transition activities until all issues on the Presidential election were resolved.

My opinion—fwiw.

Please explain how someone can make a death threat against the head of a Federal Agency and no one is arrested. This is complete unacceptable, where is the FBI or US Marshalls?

I was wondering the same thing about threats that were being made against Election Officials getting death threats, from leftist thugs.....and, suffering NO consequences.
