They "shall suffer death." -- The first penalty mentioned in U.S. law for people guilty of treason.
So, Joe Scarborough: what shall it be for President Trump and others you've suggested could be guilty of treason? Death, or one of the lesser penalties enumerated? Public executions, perhaps, on Inauguration Day? Wanna volunteer for the firing squad?
On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough accused President Trump and his legal team, with the "silent approval" of Mitch McConnell, of attempting a "coup" to "overthrow the presidency" of Joe Biden....which hasn't been certified yet.
Scarborough concluded his rant by melodramatically intoning:
"None dare call it treason. But maybe -- maybe, they should."

Legally challenging the election results is not treason. Treason is where the person challenging them turns out to be right.

I absolutely agree with Scarborough. It is Treason, but not the treason he thinks it is.
So challenging the results of a presidential election is “Treason”? I don’t believe there is statute of limitations for treason, Al Gore must be mighty nervous right about now.

Following the constitutional process is treason.
Burning down buildings and rioting and looting is peaceful.
Make dueling legal.
That would calm things down.

Strangely enough, when Gore did his stunt, it wasn’t “treason.”
As soon as Scarborough went to MSNBC, he suffered brain damage to the point that his brain was removed.

The longer this goes on the more heated the rhetoric will get. That presents a clear and present danger. The only way this gets resolved, for what I believe, a majority of Americans is a full audit and recount in all states. Where is the doj/fbi, where our our elected leaders? Maybe the chaos is what they mean to sow, but I doubt they have fully thought it through. Hard times are coming.
Joe’s life currently revolves around the occupant living rent free in his underdeveloped frontal lobe.
What will Joe do if Trump leaves office?
