Steve Schwarzman, the billionaire businessman who's been a long time supporter of Donald Trump's, now says the election is over and the president needs to move on in a sign of dwindling support for Trump's doomed legal battle.
In the immediate aftermath of the election Schwarzman, the CEO of the Blackstone Group, defended the president's right to pursue legal battles and told the business community Trump had the right to pursue all avenues.
But now he's recognizing Joe Biden's victory.
'I'm a fan of good process,' Schwarzman told Axios. 'In my comments three days after the election, I was trying to be a voice of reason and express why it's in the national interest to have all Americans believe the election is being resolved correctly. But the outcome is very certain today, and the country should move on.'
'I supported President Trump and the strong economic path he built. Like many in the business community, I am ready to help President-elect Biden and his team as they confront the significant challenges of rebuilding our post-COVID economy,' he added.

I never heard of Schwarzman.
I wonder what the Deep State has on him?
They are shipping COVID19 hospital cases to other cities in Texas such as Austin, because El Paso’s hospitals are overloaded. Probably inflating e.g. Austin’s statistics and minimizing El Paso’s.
Now Austin’s hospitals are overloaded too, so Austin / Travis County are once again shutting down and restricting Austin restaurants and bars. i.e. your Travis county small business must die because of illegals let in 576 miles away in El Paso.
What a DUMB BASTARD.
You can subtract a few million from the 80 who are not MAGA.
That’s why we need a MAGA wing of the sorry as crap Republican Party.....
Hey, I’m all for “moving on” if it turns out fraud didn’t change the outcome.
But that hasn’t been established yet has it?
Sorry, the proper way to frame it for these purposes is ...if fraud did change the outcome. It hasn’t been determined ..(proven) yet, has it. And since it won’t be determined by certification time in a court of law..it’s essentially over.
People just dont realize it yet...or cant face it yet.
The play now is to show that Trump did have the election stolen from him and was robbed. maybe powell can show it going forward.
There are a few slivers of chance based on Con Law. I dont think even Alito or Thomas are going to go that route.
My mood is up and down. Today I was down...
I hope I’m more optimistic tomorrow.
All I know is President Trump hasn’t thrown in the towel, so there is still hope - because he is a true hero.
there is some good news on the GA thread about candidates demanding recounts
but it is just pandering..
I loved my dad, my grandfather, Ronald Reagan, a couple of my uncles - my brothers, and of course my sons and my grandsons.
As a homophobic male, I don’t think in terms of “loving” other males who aren’t family - but yes, I have grown to love President Trump - because of the sacrifices he has made and the horribly unfair way he has been treated.
I just wish I could wrap him in my arms, and protect him from this onslaught of evil..

Several financee executives privately say that they’re tired of dealing with the impact of Trump’s tweets on their investments. They are starting to be convinced of a sweep by Democrats come Election Day.
Wall Street donors’ lack of enthusiasm for Trump comes even after the industry benefited from corporate and individual tax cuts passed during his administration...
