But if black people decline to take the vaccine even tho they rightly would be given high priority to obtain it, it’s no skin off my nose, and even an advantage for me.

I’m old enough to have voted in 1960, and accordingly my health isn’t what it once was - tho I’m told I don’t look my age.

So if people want to decline the vaccine, I’ll take their place in line.

Not all white folks are convinced the vaccine is safe either.

We can read about the Tuskegee Experiments as well and while it may not be *part of our history*, people can learn from history.

It’s not like the government hasn’t given us plenty of reason to not trust it when it comes to health care even without Tuskegee.
