Money, and the promise of more, can do some amazing things to people whose principles can change as quickly as their checking account balance, or the balance of their child’s college savings plan.

AOC aint going to be a dancing monkey for a GOP organ grinder. If she ever deigned to compromise with the GOP (aside: we need a new name that better reflects what the GOP really is because they are not what they pretend to be in any way, but I digress) she would make them work for her, not the other way around. She’d want them to sign up for total communism and knowing them they’d do it because (1) they want it and (2) they can use her as an excuse to explain that they had no choice, it was the only way to get some minor concession on something else. This is how they advance leftism, by saying they oppose it, then doing it with a claim that they had no other choice and at least it’s not as bad as it could have been if Dems had done it.
Why are Republicans and most conservatives accepting this premise, this false narrative that we can "block" most of Biden's crap with control of the Senate and a large minority in the House.
