WATCH: President Trump Surprises Patriots at DC's 'Million MAGA March'

Trump supporters across the nation are gathering in Washington, D.C. and state capitols throughout the country for the "Million MAGA March." The goal is simple: to show their support for President Donald Trump and make it clear they don't trust the outcome – thus far – of the 2020 election.

President Trump decided to surprise his supporters by driving through the crowd. And it clearly invigorated them:

We threw a party called #MarchForTrump and the President came!

Thank you @realDonaldTrump!

We love you, Mr. President!

My livestream died after just a couple minutes filming the #MillionMAGAMarch; too many people out here in one place for internet connection.

I will do my best to post updates throughout the day. pic.twitter.com/o3eRrxJVhm— Ford Fischer (@FordFischer) November 14, 2020

That 2nd photo from the tweet which says it’s the Trump crowd and then says it’s the obama inauguration? And if you look at it it does look to be organized v/s people milling around with Trump flags...

"Gotta admit, that choked me up a bit. This man has sacrificed and withstood so much and it’s beautiful to see so many out there today supporting him. I’m kicking myself for not being there."

It won't be the last one imho, & we need more lead time and our talkers need to co-plan it. Something like that might have been in the works (Jeff Kuhner let it slip), so hold that thought.

If these bastards pull off the steal, I see them MoonBats making it so difficult for POTUS that he takes up semi-permanet residence at his Scottland Golf Course. I revile these bastards for what they have done to this man, and my Country.

“...protesting is not who we Conservatives are,..”

These are not always protests. Sometimes demonstrations are to support or advocate, not protest.

"He said words to the effect that “protesting is not who we Conservatives are, it’s not what we do”

In 1998, Free Republic held a rally/protest in DC against Clinton that included many known conservatives as speakers, including Congressman Barr. Some Repub politician later said that helped to impeach Clinton.

Also, when Clinton wanted to lease the recently closed Naval Station property in Long Beach to the Chi-Coms COSCO shipping company, our protests and direct talks with Sen. Inhofe convinced him to include an amendment to the DOD bill and Clinton had to sign a clean bill that specifically stated Naval Station property not to be lease to COSCO. Through those efforts and others, we won that one. I was the contact with Sen. Inhofe's office. I even spoke to him on one of my calls.

I agree with both of your points, especially #2. I had a discussion with a person a Tea Party meeting some years ago who was a small business owner, and I asked him one simple question:

If you didn’t show up to your small business for the next 729 days, now wouldn’t you have a reasonable expectation that when you came back, your small business would be out of control?

The obvious answer he gave was “yes”.

That’s where we are with government. Our guys vote, they’re proud to be a part of the “silent majority”, and then they wash their hands of it and flee the scene until 2 years later at the next designated election day. But then they’re surprised that after 729 days everything is out of control. Well what was your first clue, Sherlock?

If everybody’s going to check out, then tyranny is our future. It’s simple math. And they’ve been doing this for decades. Vote then disappear. Vote then disappear. Vote then disappear. That’s a failed pattern. If you win the election but you surrender the culture, you’ve still lost.

I didn’t hear the Rush broadcast you reference, but I do have another (third?) reason why lack of protesting is a huge mistake. It is a common refrain to hear amongst conservatives that progressives dominate American culture. Of course they do, they engage in it.

Protesting is by far the single most simple and direct way to engage in culture, politically. And its so disruptive to the media’s narrative. So disruptive. It’s so quick, it doesn’t require much forethought nor does it require some huge corporate entity to begin the process. We could do this without any actual organization.

Tax Day Tea Partying never should have ended. April 15th is by far such an easy lightning rod for everybody to unite.

It’s our own fault that we never demanded a GOP that actually sticks up for the Conservative half of the country, and that understands Marxist propaganda....people who claim to be champions of equality should be viewed with extreme scrutiny, due to how “fighting inequality” is the rallying cry of Marxists....unfortunately, SJWs have been given the benefit of the doubt for decades...... It’s like telling your kid that if a stranger offers them candy and tells them to get in their car, they should do it, because they’re probably a really nice person

Now that is a buncha folks.

And you know what I DON’T see? Broken windows, looted businesses, burnt out buildings, fires everywhere, rocks thrown at cops, molotov cocktails...

Not even one broken window. Makes me glad I switched. Bill Clinton did not get impeached, that very day I swore I would NEVER vote for another democrat. I haven’t always been anywhere near happy with republicans, but this makes me think it was a good call.
