Former President George W. Bush issued a rare public statement on Sunday, congratulating President-elect Joe Biden on his victory and also giving a nod to President Trumps unsuccessful reelection bid.
"I just talked to the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden. I extended my warm congratulations and thanked him for the patriotic message he delivered last night," Bush said.
I also called Kamala Harris to congratulate her on her historic election to the vice presidency, Bush said of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, a California senator who shattered gender and racial barriers with her win.
"No matter how you voted, your vote counted," Bush said. "The American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally fair, its integrity will be upheld, and its outcome is clear."

The Bush family is a disgrace.
I protested on behalf of this f-up when he was trying to
protect his position in Florida back in 2000.
Where’s his loyalty? Pretty clear isn’t it.
His loyalty is to the “Club” and we ain’t in it.
Club does come to mind... “:^)
No surprise. GWB no doubt feels closer to Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden than he does Donald Trump (or any run of the mill conservative for that matter). For him, party is a convenient head fake to distract from the real divide - establishment v average American.
This is my surprised face.
The only consolation is that there will never be another Bush elected to anything higher than small city mayor, at best.
Hail Hail the gangs all here.
The reunification of the Uniparty with their foot on the necks of the Forgotten Man , the one who pays the freight for their gifting.
GWB of all people should be speaking out against voter fraud. Instead he’s kissing ass. I think I’ll send him a picture of my ASS so he can do a painting of it. And then he can Kiss it.
To you George and your stoopid little brother Jeb, F-you
Well, the Bush family are “old money” and don’t have to worry about the lives of future generations. Real people, living paycheck to paycheck, can’t afford the luxury of getting on board with socialists.
Was it ever decided what those letters said?
No as far as I know.
