Joe Biden took the lead over President Trump in the crucial state of Georgia early Friday morning as votes continued to be counted for the presidential election.
Biden led Trump by 917 votes in the Peach State as the former vice president gained ground in several key swing states, giving him a path to a victorious 270 electoral votes.
Biden has been cutting into the president’s lead in the state since polls closed on Tuesday night and poll workers began counting mail-in votes, which have cut in Biden’s favor.
Neither Trump or Biden have reached enough electoral votes to be elected president. Several states — Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Georgia — have not been called.
Trump narrowed Biden’s lead in Arizona on Thursday night when a batch of mail-in ballots that favored the president were counted.
In Arizona, which Fox News and The Associated Press have called for Biden, Trump now trails Biden by some 56,800 votes.
In Pennsylvania, Trump’s lead had been trimmed down to less than 20,000 votes as Philadelphia continued to count their tallies.

The ole “found ballots, keep counting, take the lead, done” technique in GA. Everyone saw this happening for days. Yet, I didn’t hear one peep out of the Trump campaign about this. Not one peep, other than, “we won Georgia.”
If I were the Dems, I would choose every state with a large dem metro area and repeat this now. Why not? Who is going to stop them. Ain’t it cute how they are cheating, they know that they are cheating and they know you know that they are cheating. Ha ha, in your face, what are you going to do about it.
Who could have seen this coming for twenty years? Trump warned us after the 2018 midterms. He knew. Did squat. But he warned us about this, before doing squat.
How ever did we get here?
I am sure we will rise up tho. Just as soon as we finish readily accepting being locked in our homes to hide from a virus.
