Republicans are up 20,000 in the first 20 minutes of voting. So far Republicans have a 32% advantage in the Florida Early Vote.
Been climbing about 15k/hr the past few hours, with three more hours until the Eastern time zone closes (Central time zone of FL has four more hours). But the after work crowd should be starting to hit the polls right about now.
Are you sure that Trump will want Evanka to run? I get the feeling that she is the favorite child. I think it would be a mistake however.
So the current numbers are
Dem 80k, begin day
GOP 224K, gain today
_______________
144k, net GOP advantage
157,867
NewsMax says FLA has been counting votes all day ... the mail ballots. But maybe the results don’t get released until 7pm
True?
A bit of a slowdown in the past 20 minutes, but the margin of GOP to DEM ballots is now 100k+ more than it was in 2016.
No idea, but that sounds right. FL, especially if Trump looks to have won the state, will get those results posted ASAP.
While I am loving what I am seeing here let’s not fall prey to Skewed Data based on our proclivity to our Commander and Chief. The left did the exact same thig four years ago. Use your head, be aware, stick to the facts and above all give a damn. It’s going to be a long couple of days.
Panhandle open an hour later than rest of state, heavy Trump and tend to vote after work. So big R #s to come out of there.

Three different people reporting, 157, 144 and 100+ Republican difference. OK which is it?
157k is the current GOP-DEM ballot margin for 2020. 55k was the GOP-DEM ballot spread in 2016, for the 100k+ is the increase in the margin (so far) from 2016 to 2020. No idea where the 144k number came from.

The FL-GOP’s vice chairman, Christian Ziegler, has posted numbers which include at least one county not being updated on the map that I am looking at. Ziegler shows FL-GOPers up by 179,470. Impressive, but far from surprising.
Here in Pensacola, the local paper said 55% of Escambia county did early voting. Not sure how that fits into the current count.
Fl. counties count mail-in votes in advance of the in-person election day vote. The first numbers released tonight will be the mail-in vote, overall vote totals which include election day in person voting will come later.
Beautiful, Leni! Thanks for another great jingle.

Sounds like we start from behind and work our way back gaining momentum as we go then. Hopefully Independents will go our way or even. 2016 it was R+3 guess we will see tonight.
What county? As mention if that missing county is Miami Dade these numbers could be meaningless
I’ll revise that a bit. Fl. counts mail in and early in-person vote (IPEV) in advance and those show up pretty soon after end of voting. The election day results start being factored in later as those are counted.
Look, dems arent going to turn out in record numbers today. Covid Covid Covid keeps this from happening. At last check, we are trailing there about 4K votes today as far as ballots cast. Inconsequential.
