Joe Biden will become "an underdog" if he fails to win Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes, FiveThirtyEight founder Nate Silver said on ABC's "This Week" Sunday.
Why it matters: Trump won the battleground by less than a point in 2016, as he narrowly swept swing states in the Rust Belt to secure victory in the Electoral College. FiveThirtyEight's average of polls currently shows Biden with a 5% lead in Pennsylvania.
What he's saying: Silver told "This Week" that if Trump ends up winning the election, "it would come down to Pennsylvania."
"Pennsylvania has not bumped up to a 7- or 8-point Biden lead like we see in Michigan and Wisconsin. It's 5 points. It's not a big early voting state, so a lot of votes have not yet been cast in Pennsylvania," Silver said.

Full of $h!t. And he was on ABC's Sunday morning show spewing this? If this were betting on the point spread, I would take under and win every time.
So they are saying one of the least inspiring candidates in recent memory is going to win 349 electoral votes? That is beyond foolish.
“he looked like a kicked dog so I can only hope hes getting the same answer over and over and over again.”
sounds like in fact that’s EXACTLY what he was getting ...

If MY people, who are called by MY name, will humble themselves and pray and seek MY face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

“Nate built his reputation calling two of the most obvious election results in recent times.”
many have said that the was given obama’s internal polling ...
Landslide.
Yup. The Iowa poll has them worried.
We hold our 2016 and win MI we win-period. We don’t need PA.
Don’t forget NH, with colleges closed, I think we flip that State.
This thread has more insight than the entire NY Times today.
Why would anyone vote L when Trump has given us a nonintervention foreign policy?
No, it is right on time, before election day.

Tired of people framing “Trump will declare victory prematurely” as a media story. Most likelyin part because the White House has telegraphed it so much in advancethe media will be fairly well-prepared. Instead, it’s a story about Trump seeking to undermine faith in democracy.
The WH can have so much fun with this.
They can declare victory any time they want—f&^% Nate and f^%$ the mass media.
The WH knows the real numbers.
Btw, if anyone is not aware of where to go to find the real numbers, here is one place you want to visit on election night:

An early state to watch is NH.
All the “official” polls are showing an easy Biden win.
Polls I trust say the President will win the state by a couple of points.
Also, here are the numbers I believe are accurate (for comparison on election night)—post 13 on this thread:

Nate knows but is afraid to say Biden is doomed.
They have to make it sound close so people tune in.
Wi and MI are 7 to 8 point leads for Biden? HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I have a $100 Nate and I will take the under for both states.
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Without PA, Biden is toast. He would have to run the table and that is not going to happen. With PA, President Trump has many, many combinations to win. If Trump wins NH, several more possibilities open up.
What I really think: President Trump is going to win all of the states that are not part of the popular vote pack (and maybe one of them). Then is the pack going to give Trump their electors? They will claim it is not in effect yet. True, but if it benefited them they would do it. Giving Trump a moral 50 state victory.
