Police quickly declared a Northeast Portland march against capitalism and police violence a riot Saturday after some protesters smashed windows at several businesses.
Posters advertised the Halloween night march with a tagline of "Capitalism is Scary."
The march began around 7:15 p.m., when about 80 people left Irving Park and marched south on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. "No cops! No prisons! Total abolition," the crowd chanted.
As the march progressed, some people smashed windows of nearby buildings, including a bank, a real estate agency, a phone store, a hotel and a Starbucks. People in the crowd enforced no filming.
The crowd has grown to about 100 people when Portland police arrived around 7:40 p.m. and announced they had labeled the gathering a riot...

I’ve decided I don’t care if Seattle and Portland burn to the ground.
The authorities there are fine with it, they even support it, and the citizens keep voting for those authorities, so what’s the problem?
They get what they want (their cities being trashed) and we get to be entertained while saying “I told you so,” and it just solidifies the resolve of normal Americans.
Seems like a win-win to me.
Property insurance companies need to publicly red-line cities like Portland (i.e., refuse to underwrite insurance in those cities).

Absolutely NO ONE needs to follow the “mandates” by the witch governor Brown! She imposes NOTHING AT ALL on large groups of people who’ve been gathering in Portland for MONTHS without masks engaging in arson, property destruction and murder.

Totally agree. Unless the mass majority in these areas retake their towns, and state, don’t spend a penny supporting anything there.
Insurance companies have begun dropping customees after just one claim... perhaps because of these riots...

Good idea. I think some have been doing this already and many businesses are moving out.
Most insurance policies have riders declining payments for riots and insurrection. That’s why most of the small businesses will never re-open. Big companies can spread the cost of rebuilding and jack up prices to cover the losses.
That’s just it. Blue state governors impose no limits on Antifa/ BLM, but then they expect the rest of us to be trained seals and follow their “mandates?”

No ONE needs to follow a damn thing these forked tongued blue state governors say anymore period.

In a year or so these same hoodlum and their bleeding heart social justice snowflakes will be moaning and complaning about the ‘pharmacy deserts’ and ‘food deserts’ because businesses closed for good.
