CHICAGO, IL Two sisters are charged with attempted murder after police allege they attacked a store employee and one sister stabbed him 27 times after they were asked to wear a mask, Chicago police said. The 32-year-old store worker was in critical condition following the Sunday attack.
Police said the two sisters entered a small West Side store in the 3200 block of West Roosevelt Road around 6 p.m. Sunday and were greeted by an employee, who asked them to put on a mask and use hand sanitizer, according to Sun-Times Media Wire.
Police said surveillance footage showed Jessica Hill, 21, pull out a knife and Jayla Hill, 18, hold the man by the hair while her sister stabbed him in the chest and body, WTTW reported. Police said the sisters continued kicking the man as he fell to the ground, despite footage showing that he did not provoke them and never struck or pushed the two women.
The employee is a store security guard, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Cook County Judge Mary Catherine Marubio denied bond for the two sisters on Tuesday
I wonder if the stabber counted to reach the ‘right’ amount for the offense.
Hope the man recovers. Actually, that may be something you can not recover from, you just have to move on - if you survive.
Stupid hill to die on.

Good one. But please remember, math is racist.
OK, I’m not a fan of masks and have worn one exactly 3 times over the past year, but stabbing someone for being a dick about it is a bit excessive. Granted, seeing the pics above, it makes sense in a weird 2020 kinda way, but still, there are better ways to handle the question.
While viscerally satisfying, I'd just sentence them to 30 minutes in a room with nothing but nitrogen in it.
Here in NJ the employee has to ask them to put on a mask; they aren’t allowed in without them. If that is the case here, they’re just attacking the messenger.
I pity anyone who works in retail in an environment where these bipedal hyenas come in; I would never want my children exposed to these savages.
Thankfully I live in the somewhat free state of Texas. I've completely ignored the whole wearing a mobile petri dish on my face throughout it all. My favorite local bar opened back up way before the 'rules' said they could. I've been doing what I can to patronize them and associate with other folk who don't give a damn about masks.
A lot of people died here; looks like we have 183 deaths per 100,000 compared to your 61 per 100,000. Even if they are inflated, the spring spike left a mark here in the NYC metro area that won’t be gone any time soon.
183/1000000=0.00183
This is hardly a pandemic.

A lot of humans have died from the CHOICE industry.
It has achieved a rate of about 50,000 per 100,000 who are recipients of their services.
I wonder why the name and RACE of the fella stabbed is not mentioned.
If he is black; it would just be one more black-on-black crime; barely worth mentioning.
And if he is white; then thousands will be ramaging the streets demanding JUSTICE!!!
Oh... Wait...
There is only one ‘small Westside store’ in the 3200 block of West Roosevelt: a McDonalds.

It isn’t the end of the world, but it was a lot of people in a short burst; the rest of the country benefited from the mistakes made in the NYC metro area when they initially treated it here.
You don’t have to tell me that; a few years back NYC had more black abortions than live births (which was the whole purpose of legalizing it). Ruth Ginsberg said as much: “Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we dont want to have too many of.”
