If you have enough virus to be infectious, then you have enough to have symptoms.
Vaccine means you have antibodies that keep the virus from multiplying which means you never have enough virus to be infectious.

Over the years there have been many unsuccessful trials to come up with a vaccine for the corona virus family, but so far the results have been dismal at best. This virus like most others including the cold virus will mutate and by the time a matching vaccine was found the virus has mutated and the vaccine is no longer effective and at times in a roundabout way may even affect your health.
