I hope that David has brought Rush to Christ. I know that for years Rush gave God reverence and treated Christians respectfully, but I never felt that Rush knew the Lord.
David (a brilliant lawyer and author) certainly does.
Rush is a national treasure, and has done amazing things for the Conservative movement. But listening to Rush lately, it is clear that he also discovered that his money, fame, private jet, Florida beachfront mansion, stocks, and all his possessions mean nothing when you are facing death.
In the final analysis, we all meet our Creator.
Christ is the only hope, and the only way.
Beautifully said.
Very good post......
Amen SkyPilot. You nailed it.
Very nice....I for one thought he was going to beat it - he seemed to be so “up” all the time but missing more air time was a sign...One in a million!!!
Thanks for your post....
Thank you for your post.
Rush said Monday he has a very strong relationship with Christ. Hes just very private about his spiritual beliefs.
Amen, well-stated. For Christians there is a wonderful hope for what lays ahead beyond this world. It’s all based on the finished work of Christ Jesus, not on other godly thoughts and feelings.
If you had heard the first segment of today’s broadcast you would not have felt the need to post this.
In the first segment today, Rush clearly stated that he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. My wife and I rejoiced when he said it.
Amen
Amen Bro!
Your post echoed my initial thoughts.
Eternity is forever & only Jesus saves.
Thanks SkyPilot for this thoughtful post.
“I hope that David has brought Rush to Christ.”
When Rush made the cancer announcement back in February, I did hear that David had led Rush to Christ. (IIRC) I don’t recall if it had recently, or months/years before.
Amen.
