Massive Trump Latino outreach set to deliver record turnout -

“No other group worries Democrats more than American-born Hispanic men, particularly those under the age of 45, who polls show are highly skeptical of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.,” warned the New York Times recently.

In the last month, capped by last weekend’s 30,000-car Latinos for Trump parade in Miami,... largely ignored by the media,... the campaign and Republican National Committee stomped the pedal in its outreach effort.

The Republican National Committee and Trump Victory have long been committed to earning the trust and vote of our community. Through long-standing organizing efforts on the ground in several states, along with targeted voter contact and digital outreach efforts, we are well-positioned to see that outreach translate into votes in November,” J.P. Carroll, the RNCs deputy director of Hispanic Media,

In addition to Miami, dozens of Latinos for Trump events were held around the country last weekend, including some near Washington. In Culpeper, Virginia, organizers handed out red “Latinos for Trump” T-shirts, and speakers praised the president’s law and order push and efforts to boost the economy.

This is where the DC swamp creatures just don’t get it. The communities that are hurt the most by illegal immigration are the Latino and Black communities.

It’s been a long hard sell to the Latino community, but I think over the past four years....probably around 50-percent of the Latino community (nationally) is now pro-Trump. In some areas (particularly in the south)...it might go 75-percent for Trump and Latinos.

My wife and I were watching the election at a bar in Houston. A big Hispanic young man was sitting next to us at the bar. Our enthusiasm for Trump must have become obvious, 'cause he leaned over and confided he had voted for Trump, too.

AS he explained, he was in the Army, and knew Clinton wouldn't didn't give a rat's patooty about the military, especially after Benghazi.

Many people know more than the media thinks they know, and the Hispanic community is far more conservative (at least in the South) than liberals think they are.

I was at the Trump rally in Sanford, FL Monday. I met a very nice Puerto Rican couple who were with Latinos for Trump. They were telling me it’s not only Cubans but PDJT is getting lots of support from Latinos of ALL stripes.

Boy I hope hispanics are waking up to the identity politics that dems use on them.

My pop told me Italians started voting more and more Republican staring in the early 70s when they realized they were being bamboozled by dems.

It’s also probably because each generation got further away from the socialist past in the old country.

I think we will see that with hispanics.

I could be wrong :)

Well you can’t put a parade of 30,000-cars/Latinos for Trump parade without a great deal of passion and unity. They do know how to pull together.

If I had 100 bucks to bet that that news story was true or false, I would put it all on false.

It was simply incredible.

Actually, such an unexpected and phenomenal spectacle that it should have been BIG news for days and days in msm...if they weren’t dem run.

Being born and raised in CA I can attest to this assertion.

Hispanic men born here, often second or third generation (sometimes more) are little different than your average redneck.

I know many.

They are the half of Hispanic males that will vote.

But their wives, like ours, are solidly Democratic. And their kids, like ours, are generally stupid.

Just sayin’.

I hope and pray for that! I’d read that much of the Trump campaign’s resources were spend on the registration ground game.

I’m not at all sure the Democrats plans for dominating future elections are going to pan out like they think they are. They’re banking on Latinos voting for them forever. Historical trends and several current factors indicate this is probably false.

- New Immigrants do tend to vote Democrat. The longer they are in America however, the more likely they are to vote Republican.

- Latinos are overwhelmingly Catholic. White Catholics vote Republican at a rate only a couple percentage points below the rate at which Evangelicals vote Republican.....there was a time when Democrats dominated among Irish Americans or Italian Americans etc. That hasn’t been the case for a long time however.

- lots of Latinos are in fact and consider themselves to be.......brace for it........White.

- lots of Latinos have family values and a strong work ethic as well as a healthy distrust of government given their experiences. There is MUCH for the Republicans to work with here......

- rates of intermarriage for both Latinos and Asians are 50% in the first generation which is a staggeringly high percentage for immigrant groups historically. These people are being integrated quickly. That’s unavoidable when your spouse is a native.

It will take outreach and yes, in the short term many will likely continue to vote Democrat due to the promises of free stuff, but over time I think it likely most Latinos will go the same way as other immigrant groups in the past...indeed the same way Cubans have gone - Democrats at first and staunch Republicans now.
