Sexist MSNBC Smears Barrett as ‘This Woman’ Who’s Too Stupid to Know the Law

Before MSNBC’s The ReidOut decided on Wednesday to only mention the Amy Coney Barrett confirmation hearings once, Tuesday’s show was filled with rank sexism against Barrett as panelists ruled that “this woman” and “this lady” was akin to the Proud Boys, guilty of collusion with the Trump administration to get rid of ObamaCare, a real-life SNL skit, and too dumb to understand the law.

The Beat host Ari Melber went down the collusion route after Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) finished wrapping her questioning of Barrett, praising her for pressing Barrett about when she had written a law review article disagreeing with the first ObamaCare case and received “this plum promotion from the President” as if to insinuate some quid pro quo. As usual with the liberal media, Barrett didn't actually condemn the Affordable Care Act itself.

My answer would be that if indeed "serious" people (in the context of what Amy Comey Barrett said) are talking about it in the context of being "right or wrong" then it can't be a "Super Precedent". Super Precedents are a small number of foundational things that nobody argues about. Nobody talks about Brown V board of Education, because every serious person will agree that barring other factors, it is not Constitutional to segregate people based on the color of their skin. And nobody talks about any Slavery related rulings like Dredd Scott, because...it is a given that Slavery is anti-Constitutional. Those kinds of things.

I can't say about homosexual marriage or affairs, because I don't follow who is talking about it or how much. But, nobody stops talking about Roe v. Wade.

Heck, we know why Klobuchar was pursuing this line of questioning. She was trying to put Barrett on the spot and get her to make a statement that could be put into a Democrat commercial to be blasted nationwide imploring people to call their Senators to "end this madness" because...she sees the writing on the wall. Here is an excerpt from her statement which is telling:

To all Americans, we don’t have some clever procedural way to stop this sham, to stop them from rushing through a nominee. But we have a secret weapon that they don’t have. We have Americans who are watching, who work hard every day, believe in our country and the rule of law, whether they are Democrats, Republicans, or Independent. They know what this President and the Republican party are doing right now is very wrong. In fact, 74 percent of Americans think we should be working on a COVID relief package right now instead of this.

Let me tell you a political secret. I doubt that we’ll be a brilliant cross-examination that’s going to change this judge’s trajectory this week. No. It is you. It is you calling Republican senators and telling them enough is enough, telling them that it is personal, telling them they have their priorities wrong. So do it. And it is you voting even when they try to do everything to stop you. It is you making your own blueprint for the future instead of crying defeat. So do it. This isn’t Donald Trump’s country. It is yours. This shouldn’t be Donald Trump’s judge. It should be yours..."

In the first underlined statement-she knows they can't stop it. In the second, she parrots the talking points coming out of the stinking pie-holes of every Leftist I have heard, that "we should be concentrating on Covid" not pushing through a Supreme Court candidate.

And the overall tenor of her statement displays the fact that they have nothing to stop it except imploring people to call their Senators...no...call everyone. They are hoping for a tidal wave of people deluging their representatives and Senators that would make them cry uncle and stop. Which is ridiculous. They aren't going to stop. But that is their last and only hope. What a pathetic witch.

This also explains to a degree the intransigence of Pelosi. If she caves on the package...that takes away the only avenue those idiots think they have to get out of this judicial bind they are in.

So Pelosi won’t budge. And with Trump out there saying “Sign it now! Sign it now!” and her refusing...he wins there too.

The Left is stuck on the proverbial horns of a dilemma.

If they cave and agree to pass the bill, they don’t even have the 0.5% leverage they have, which is far less than they will ever have, and the hearings go on with ACB approval.

If they hold out, they take a hit, and Democrats take a hit, and...ACB is probably still going to be approved any way.

I already have a gigantic reservoir of contempt for the Left...this only deepens and widens it.
