After Senator Cornyn pointed out that ACB has no notes with her, Dick Durbin is turning page after page in his big notebook. I really do not like the fact that the Democrats can put up giant posters during these hearings. Posters are for political points and should not be allowed.

My impression of Mrs. Barrett so far is that finding dirt on her is going to be extremely difficult. Doesn't mean they won't try.
Her name has been floated for the court since Kavanaugh was nominated, so they've had some time. But of anyone ever looked squeaky clean, she is the one.

If she had not been distressed at the Floyd death it would be all over the news cycle. CNN would be 24/7 implying she’s a racist.
They won’t be able to stop her confirmation. It will be strictly on party lines, but they want to somehow tarnish her reputation. I think she handled the question as well as it could be. It’s a no-win question.
