Maybe there should be a time limit within the 30 minutes for how long the senator can actually talk. After all, these hearings are supposed to be to learn about the nominee for supreme court justice. No one learns anything when he is talking himself.

At most hearings senators and congressmen don’t even stay in the room to hear other legislators questions or the witness’ testimonies. They come and go when it’s their turn. They don’t care anything about learning from the witness or about the American people. The swamp is so disgusting.
