poken like a true conservative?“

No, spoken like a MAGA conservative

I stopped being an old fashioned conservative when fellow conservatives cheered as Bush Iraq, with none of them concerned about the cost. It was then I realized how selective - no, how phony - their “fiscal conservatism” was

It’s our grandkids’ country, too. Your all-or-nothing mentality might cost them that.

You should read up on the concept of a “pyrrhic victory”. We can’t fix what will certainly happen if the ‘rats steal this election, so bleating about a stimulus check that mostly benefits taxpayers and doesn’t destroy the country directly like a ‘rat victory would is a waste of time at best. Write some letters *after* we win.

We loan it to ourselves via the Fed. It’s all vapor. Very little of our national debt is owed to anyone. It’s mostly bits in a computer.

Makes my head hurt thinking about it. The fact is - national debt is a preprogrammed inflation/purchasing power over 30-50 years in the future. That is all it is from what I can tell. PRINT PRINT PRINT .......,

“They have stolen so much intellectual property that we shouldn’t even pay a penny until that is completely sorted out.”

That’s actually something I’ve written to Congress about. Not my own reps, they are probably owned by the CCP, but others.

We should charge off the value of all the intellectual property they have stolen, as best we can evaluate it, against the debt held by China. You stole a billion dollar semiconductor? Cha-ching. You stole billions in military tech? Cha-ching. And so on. And fine them every time we detect an attempted hack on our infrastructure or financial institutions. Run it through a special court. Let them try to defend it or blame it on ‘rogues’. The only outcomes are bad for them.

You there’s no jobs out there if your unemployed...besides the millions of gig economy jobs that you will do if you need to work that bad.

But when you are getting a cool THOUSAND dollars between federal and state unemployment, those jobs don’t look so great.

And putting the feet up and watching afternoon talk shows looks better.

300 from the feds at MOST.

certain state governors as in California shut down their economy and threw many of their working people onto welfare or other kinds of government-dependent status

to illustrate just how arbitrary and non-sensical it all was, we can use your California example again.... dozens or hundreds of people can shop in the big stores but cannot sit down for a bite of lunch at the local diner while out spending their money.
And many, most have had their churches and synagogues shut down by Cal government dictat.....while they can still go next door to the Costco or big grocery store.
But of course we all know that the viruses are all at church and not one will enter Costco, Walmart, or Safeway.
These insane directives did not issue from WashingtonDC, they came right out of the California governor’s office (and locals).
Just saying, let those who cause the economic hardship pay for it. The rest of us taxpayers are sick and tired of bailing out irresponsible state govts

We only have to cover the yearly interest payments, and at close to zero percent which is where the Fed is holding rates, it’s reasonable even with $27 Trillion in total debt.

Now, when interest rates eventually start to rise to hold off galloping inflation (which is coming sooner or later), watch those interest payments gobble up more and more of the yearly federal budget. A debt of $40 Trillion (and that’s also coming sooner or later) financed at 4% will demand a yearly payment of $1.6 TRILLION.

> “It’s only money ... our grandkids money.”

It’s not money and it’s not ours and not our grandkid’s.

It’s Fed Dollars from their printing devices.

The Fed Dollar is going to be replaced by the US Dollar indexed to gold.

The Fed Dollar will be retired, taken out of circulation and removed from digital repositories. As expected, it has been abused far more than most every person will ever know.

The states did not create this disaster. Covid 19 did. As an example, California had a budget surplus in 2019, was on track for a surplus in 2020, and was accumulating much of that surplus in its "rainy day fund". This is not fake news or liberal claptrap; the numbers are there in black and white. California Budget Outlook for 2020 (pre-pandemic)

The States and their cities mostly created this disaster. The virus didn't put out mask diktats. The virus didn't order all bars to close, restaurants to only allow 25% capacity. The virus didn't order all Churches closed, but ignore the riots. That was entirely the individual cities/counties and States doing that, even though your chances of even running into someone with it are essentially zero.

The federal government has to bail out the states for the simple reason that it is unconstitutional for the states to create money, as described under Article 1, Section 8. It's as simple as that. This is not about pensions and profligate spending; it's about a once in a century crisis and the Constitution.

Huh? A bunch of States (but not all) spent more money that they had, so FedGov is responsible for the bill? Maybe they shouldn't have spent all this money they didn't have. There is NO obligation for US taxpayers to bail out wasteful States, but if they do, it should come with the caveat that that State is reverted to territory status. Any cities bailed out are disincorporated and remitted to the county. As a whole we need to get all levels of government more out of our daily lives!

Please continue big payouts to those who are burning cities. If not they would have to get a job.
Nothing says Constitutional conservative more than and endless Pelosi payout. We are wearing masks and financing the dem dream come true. The more we give covid power over our lives the more we will never get back.
Stop the pelosi payouts. Pay peolpe who work and starve the rioters.

Bailouts and subsidies aren’t unconstitutional. If they were, the transcontinental railroad was unconstitutional

I hope that bitch Pelosi does not stick that bill regarding the 25th amendment commission into the relief bill and if she manages to stick it in there that the President will read the bill and not sign it.
I dont trust that woman.

Yeah like that boondoggle of a bill for a commission on the 25th amendment she unveiled today that bill was written in 2017 she could try to attach it to the relief bill.
