Shy Trump Voters or Fed Up Trump Voters?
American Thinker.com ^ | October 9, 2020 | J.B. Shurk

It seems that each day comes with another well known conservative prognosticator imbibing "doom" shots with "gloom" chasers before breakfast. "Trump is toast." "He's losing by double digits in the polls." "He's got only himself to blame." Quick: Were those 2016 or 2020 opinion ledes? Trick question: The same people who gave up in 2016 faster than Bill Kristol discovered his inner socialist are already in double-time retreat, rehashing headlines from four years ago and predicting electoral Armageddon for Republicans. Well, gentle pundits, when the media begin ramping up "Operation Demoralize" to sap the energy from Republican voters right on schedule, and you choose to micturate in your foxholes rather than to affix bayonets, then it's clear that the battlefield of ideas is no place for anyone who has learned nothing from the four years of war against Trump voters.

In 2016, the Democrats (and too many establishment Republicans) didn't think Trump had a chance in hell. Even with the election in the bag, Clinton and Obama still unleashed a wild international conspiracy that relied on the CIA, FBI, FISA court, and State Department to perform as extensions of the Democratic Party in an outrageous effort to implicate the Republican candidate as a Russian spy. When they are certain of victory, the Democrats are willing to frame an opponent for high treason and inflame tensions with a hostile nuclear adversary. Just what wouldn't they be willing to do when a second straight loss could cripple their Gramscian takeover of America's constitutional republic as founded?

In 2016, Obama's legacy, Scalia's seat, and Hillary's money-laundering operation at the Clinton Foundation were on the line. In 2020, what isn't on the line?

the narrative will be... how could trump have won the election, when all the polls had biden winning by 20 points?

russian collusion or voting fraud by his bots... they will seek to remove him physically with the goons from the justice department.

Here in Phoenix, I am seeing the most pathetic attempt yet. Suddenly, on public right-of-ways, NEVER on private property, I am seeing “Republicans for Biden” signs.

I am sure there are some McCainiacs and vested interests out there who are military interventionists or Chamber of Commerce types who can’t stand Trump. But they are few, and are as persuasive as Jennifer Rubin at a Lubivitcher Bar Mitzvah.

Up here in Scottsdale, I’m seeing someone writing “FU” on a Republican incumbent for local office.
Trump and Biden signs are both rare.

I’m 71 years old, have a college education, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this word....

Why didn’t he just say “piss”????

Probably Trump voters are tuning out. Considering that tv news has become unwatchable (and bear in mind, I sat through the entire vice presidential debate without a problem) I think it is possible that people are just streaming other content and going about their lives. This solution to unacceptable bias in the news is a workaround, so they will hopefully show up on election day because things have gotten so batshit.

They might as well call themselves “Republicans without Brains.” A bunch of Ned Flanders types I’m guessing.

Try both. Given the Sturmabteilung tactics of the Antifa and BLM protesters, Trump supporters are both angry but keep much of it to themselves out of literal fear of their own lives.

YEs, we all remember how popular McCain was by the dozens who lined the streets for his unending funeral tour. Dems like to comfort themselves by wrapping themselves in lies.

Or just fight four more years of a read-guard action while screaming that he’s illegitimate.

I'm a fed-up Trump voter. I've been waiting for almost four years for indictments of Hillary, the FBI, the CIA, and any other swamp creatures that were behind this attempted coup of the Trump Presidency. But so far, crickets form Huber, crickets from Durham, crickets from Wray, and just lip service from Barr.

From this article to God’s ears I hope he’s right! I am one of those he described in the article and I will walk barefoot over broken glass and stand all day to vote for Trump on November 3rd!! BTW- so will my wife, my sister in-law, my mother and father in laws, my brother in law....all Hispanics that didn’t like Trump in 2016 but are now hell bent on voting for him on Nov. 3rd because they see the Democrats as Godless Socialists that want to destroy the country they so love!!

Why show our hand.

I walk quietly and carry a big pen to fill in the dot for President Trump and every Republican on the ballot.

This election is about turnout. Trump voters will crawl across broken glass to vote in person. Biden voters are ho-hum about him and need the he won’t lose polling narrative to turn out by mail for the most part, where ballots will be late, unsigned, filled out wrong and let the Bush v Gore fiasco play out in 6 states. So Trump in a questionable squeaker with lots of doubt and conspiracy theories.

A Trump win is better than a Biden win for the TV News ratings & business and a questionable month long election counting is really good for business too. All about ratings and advertising revenue to them. Demonize Trump for 4 more years and set the 2024 narrative.
