President Donald Trump is increasingly at odds with Attorney General William Barr over the status of the Justice Departments investigation into the origin of the Russia probe, with the president increasingly critical about a lack of arrests and Barr frustrated by Trumps public pronouncements about the case, according to people familiar with the matter.
Trump and his allies had high hopes for the investigation led by Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, betting it would expose what they see as wrongdoing when the FBI opened a case into whether the Trump campaign was coordinating with Russia to sway the 2016 election. Trump has also pushed to tie prominent Obama administration officials to that effort as part of his campaign against Joe Biden, who was serving as vice president at the time.
But a year and a half into the investigation, and with less than one month until Election Day, there has been only one criminal case: a former FBI lawyer who pleaded guilty to altering a government email about a former Trump campaign adviser who was a target of secret FBI surveillance.
With time running out for pre-election action on the case, Trump is increasingly airing his dissatisfaction in tweets and television appearances. Barr, meanwhile, has privately expressed frustration over the public comments, according to a person familiar with his thinking. [ ]
This account is based on interviews with six people who have direct knowledge of Trump and Barrs relationship. They were not authorized to speak publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

How is exposing definite criminals “prejudicing” anyone? Criminal is criminal — period. That’s not “prejudicing”.
But you aren’t and therefore can’t.
The AP has been reading Free Republic and attributing the anti Barr whining to the President
Actually it is, in ways you may not understand.

Oh ko.
Several 'unnamed sources' on this thread alone.
Good eye, bert.
according to people familiar with the matter.///
Pfft, they (3 authors) are
talking about, and referring

brings a whole new level to the term transparent.
Urinalists,
Is there anything they don’t know ?
Att. Barr we need to know if the Vice President is a crook! We Know his son is. Devon Archer is going to prison his Burima partner.
We don’t have a “Justice Department” since Holder converted it into the LAW FUNDING INDUSTRY!
Can anyone find a case where a charge(s) against a private citizen or corporation has taken longer than FOUR YEARS?
Early on, I was somewhat willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Not really even doing that anymore.
Just do your job General!
Couldn't have said anything better. Excellent points.
I actually started to feel nauseous when I pictured Barr,Durham and the many GOP DC denizens like Graham and McConell yucking it up at a high class party with the Deep State colleagues celebrating Trump being gone. And all of us going to the back of bus to Nowhere,USA, to be forgotten forever. God forbid.
My nausea has been replaced by my customary intense bitter anger. Back to normal.
Soon none of us will have to be inhibited by "until we see what happens with the election."
Sure. Whitewater investigations of Bill Clinton began in January, 1994 and the final report was written in September, 2000 with three Independent Counsels/Special Prosecutors: Robert Fiske, Ken Starr and Robert Ray.
Freemason ring with a counterclockwise motion under the top hand. Tapping index finger three times and first man says "I see you are a traveling man." Reply has to be "But red birds flying at night get to places faster."
That means the fix is in and Trump will get no help from anyone outside of FR. Red state "birds" will cave to Dems to survive the Marxist regime.
Let's hope that is my satire. My late beloved grandmother told me the traveling man line she rememered from Masons who were relatives, as a little girl in the early 1900s.
So true. Americans' faith in the justice system was broken when case after case showed the Dems skate and conservative and common people go to prison. That is no way to keep a Constitutional Republic going.
And it is Barr and Durham's fault if they let a huge case just fizzle out after Don Bongino (Spygate, Follow the Money, Exonerated), Jason Chaffetz (Deep State and Power Grab), John Solomon (Fallout) and more detailed easy to locate facts that could lead to at least some indictments.
It doesn't have to have a bow on top of a box containing 170 people with all grand juries empanelled. Just get going!
Dan Bongino (sorry)
and May God protect him and let him fully recover.
