'It was clear that Mike Pence was the winner of tonight's confrontation,' pollster says...
Voters found Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris to be "abrasive and condescending" at various points throughout Wednesday's debate with Vice President Mike Pence, pollster Frank Luntz told the Fox News reaction panel.
"The complaint about Kamala Harris was that she was abrasive and condescending," said Luntz, who monitored the reactions of 15 undecided voters from eight battleground states throughout the evening.
"The complaint about Mike Pence was that he was too tired, but [he was] vice presidential, or presidential," added Luntz, who went on to say that "if this is a battle over style and substance -- which is often the case with undecided voters because they simply do not choose on policy, they also choose on persona -- this was Mike Pence’s night."
Luntz clarified that "it’s not that Pence did so well, it’s that they [voters] felt both candidates were not answering the questions as well as they would have liked."

I was speaking to a Left-of-Left nephew of mine last night. I do not doubt he will vote for Biden. But in our conversation he asked if I was watching the VP debate. He was. I said I was not, but why did he ask? He said that he thought Pence “is a pretty impressive guy”.
I answered - “well of course he is”.
(But then again, look who Pence was debating with.)
Sounds like undecided voters have an accurate picture of Harris. The more people see her, the less they like her.

Pence won it but not because she was condescending, she tried to cliche and lie her way through and Pence caught her.
Last night I watched the debate for like 2,3 seconds and turned away. I just can’t stand Kamala’s voice.
Even if that woman NEVER opened her mouth, she’d be a pain. I guess the faces she makes have gotten her where she wanted to be in the past. I couldn’t take more than 15 minutes of it and had to go back to reading my book...I know what she’s like and I have no idea WHY I thought she would be any different last night. She is even more annoying than Hillary..
