Exactly, that is what is taught in the security clearance classes.
He also delegates classification/declassification authority to certain government figures.
Apparantly Trump is okay with this sort of thing. I expect the deep state hacks will just not release any of it, once again.
He needs to designate specific individuals with the power to enforce his order because the Deep State will avoid following it to any extent that they can get way with.
How can anyone get exited about this, unless you listen to FOX news or 2-3 online sites nobody will know about this. You know the mainstream networks and fake print media will never cover the story. Releasing this is like pissin in the wind.

If Trump’s not just yanking our legs with a master troll tick-tocking, he could have the docs all printed up and on the Press table in a few days, at most.
If the left wing media wants to pass on the story of the century (so far), they’ll be very sorry as they are scoop-trashed by the US & world media (this isn’t just a US story) who won’t pass on it.
But Trump has to put it out there - make the docs available, otherwise it’s silly to even mention it.
To authorize something is to give authority to another person or persons. Exactly WHO is now authorized to declassify? I thought Barr already had this authority. What, then, is going to change?
Trump did not say, "I hereby ORDER immediate declassification and release to the public of all these documents without redactions." Now that would get my attention.

Yesterday’s document release still had MAJOR redactions.
The only reason any additional doc’s should be redacted is because of ongoing criminal investigations by Durham/Barr. And previously released doc’s should be un-redacted.
