There are a lot of lower specificity tests than the one mentioned above.
False positives are the problem. There are comparatively few false negatives. I believe you have this paradigm confused.

I haven’t seen my family for over 6 months and they’re just 45 miles away.... I suspect this will continue over Christmas as well. Three of them work closely with the public everyday...and two in the medical field. So we decided to forgo visits for my safety. So I understand how it is.
Last year I had a Pneumonia shot for the first time. Dr. recommended now I’m getting older. A fact I rarely reflect on I must say. But once you hit 65 and up things change in how you’re Dr. views your health risks for sure!

I don’t recall you screaming your head off over the cumulatively greater losses from the flu over a couple year time span. And with the flu, you don’t count as a flu death unless it was your primary cause of death, so tons of people never show up in stats are having died from it, unlike with COVID where if you died of a car accident and had COVID, you died of COVID.

You'd need 7 years worth of flu deaths just to hit the number of COVID-19 deaths we have as of right now. And we're not done yet. Comparing it to the flu is just silly at this point.

When every death from car accidents is instead counted as a COVID-19 death because of testing, while every car accident with the someone with the flu is counted as a car accident, that is all you need to know about how freaking bogus the argument is around COVID-19 deaths.

Well at least I am not dishonest. You either are intentionally lying or do not understand the meaning of the term false positive. If you actually were to understand Baysian Statistics and the actual testing methodology, you would find that a false (+) is all but impossible with a PCR. It is a highly specific test and the genetic sequence of the virus is either there or it is not.
Of course this is not to be confused with sensitivity which is something entirely different. The number of reproductive cycles may be artificially high and that is a valid statement that perhaps we are uncovering insignificant viral loads, but that does not make the test falsely (+). It is, in fact a positive test from a highly specific technique.
