I know someone who died in a car wreck. I still drive every day.
Planning on it. Been here since November of 1998. It has certainly changed. It is not the place it used to be.
But was the wreck a non-event? Do you not care at all about the life lost or the lives that are mourning the loss?
Do you still take precautions when driving like wearing your seatbelt? Like obeying certain laws? Like looking at cross traffic before you cross an intersection even if you have a green light - or do you just drive wildly through life with total disregard for yourself, those around you, and those in the car with you?
Could it be equipped with a whip and a flamethrower? The whip would be for use when the press is relatively well-behaved, and the flamethrower for when stronger measures are required.

On the other hand, it could be that someone was infected with a highly contagious disease, didn’t realize it, and showed up to an event where everyone got way too close and it spread like wildfire. But really, how likely is that? Probably Bigfoot.

Yes it COULD have been that, BUT someone that was that HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS would NEVER have gotten past the testing or gotten in at all SO your scenario is actually very UNLIKELY!!

Dood, get over it. We all have our crosses to bear regarding tragedies in our lives. Don’t force others to change their lifestyle or close down their businesses because of what happened to you or a loved one.

I don't believe in coincidences. Are the White House destined Covid-19 "test kits" being intercepted somewhere and then doctored? "Asymptomatic" Covid-19 is perfect: it takes out the opposition, and can't be distinguished (without a fake test) from non-Covid-19 people.
Uncovering this "conspiracy" would make a great plot for a Mitch Rapp novel. Who are the bad guys? Them dems? The Chi-Coms? Both? Posting HTML

So - I didn't close down anything - and as I was explaining when this happened BACK IN MARCH - these orders were coming from the WHITEHOUSE. I used to work for a 4-star command on the senior staff and I know how this works when it comes to states and the FEDS dealing with disaster declarations. I saw the COVID Whitehouse plan and Phase 2C and page 22 and read the wording - and I knew what it meant.
And now Trump himself says and admits "I CLOSED IT DOWN"
But you all STILL will blame someone else. So - you get over it.
