BETHESDA, Md. — President Donald Trump declared, “I get it,” in a message to the nation Sunday evening before briefly leaving the hospital to salute cheering supporters from his motorcade, a surprising move that raised new questions about the president’s understanding of the coronavirus that has killed more than 209,000 Americans.
“It’s been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about COVID,” Trump said, standing in his hospital room in a video posted on social media. “I learned it by really going to school.” He added, “I get it, and I understand it.”
Before the video was posted, the infected president cruised by supporters in his bulletproof SUV, windows rolled up, driven by Secret Service agents in protective gear who were potentially exposed to the disease that has swept through the White House in recent days.
“This is insanity,” tweeted Dr. James P. Phillips, an attending physician at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where Trump has been hospitalized since Friday evening. “Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary presidential ‘drive-by’ just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die,” the doctor wrote. “For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater.”

That is correct — please note the article says “an” attending physician — this is not someone involved with care, otherwise it would have said PDJT’s attending physician.
So according to his logic, the President should NEVER go outside his office, even when perfectly healthy, because that would needlessly endanger a SS agent who might get hit by an assassin’s bullet, etc.

What Trump really got was that we were there for him. I took mrs. jimfree back out (we had been there earlier 6a to 10a) for the 5:00 prayer service. I was there. I traveled from Texas to join the crowd outside the hospital. I appreciated him waving his appreciation to me. This doctor should not comment on what he doesn’t know.
I was down the street from the main rally and police were holding everyone in place for the set up and drive around, but the police didn’t know what was going to happen. Some bitchy news person kept trying to talk her way past the blockade, insisting that the lady cop should let her past even though she didn’t have her press pass on her. She said something about not carrying the pass with her because it was dangerous. ??? if she had just shut up, been alert to what was happening, she could have caught some good footage on her phone. I told her to relax, that something was about to happen, and it would be over soon. Anyway, I was very excited to see the President.

I dont disagree. The epic meltdown on CNN is actually funny. The pearl clutching and millennial snowflakes cannot disguise their disgust and hatred that PDJT hasn’t had the courtesy to just die and that he came out of the hospital.

Most of the young doctors ARE leftists because that’s who the teaching docs are choosing to let it. They do less now too. Insurance companies won’t even let PCPs remove a small mole. The insurance company makes more money if they have to go to the dermatologist! So everyone has to be referred now. It’s a ridiculous waste of money, but that’s more money in the pockets of instance companies. The need to be reined in!
