Well, there is that aspect too. Just injecting an experimental drug into a POTUS should require close monitoring.
I think like the other poster indicated- watch for the transfer of power. He is going to have to be damn near a coma before he does it but that will be the time to panic.
What is the evidence of this? And what if it were true? (I don’t think it is). What if a candidate for POTUS were to die or become incapacitated immediately before an election? What happens?

We are limited in what we know. But I want him to make it. I want him to survive.
He has heart issues and obviously age has expanded his girth. Going to Walter Reed makes complete sense. Doctors and equipment at hand for emergencies. Although I have heard they have a complete clinic in the basement of the White House it does not suffice for a hospital. Trump also has a son and staff he has to worry about.
I think the point here should be he was taken to Bathesda as a precaution. Given he was treated with something experimental, it is prudent to do so if only for over the weekend. The prescription for the equal of pepcid probably means he had a stomuck reaction. If this is like a usual respitory one, the adage is three days coming, three days with you and three days to pass. That would be 9-10 days which was the term suggested for recovery using remdesivir. He is taking REGN-COV2 which I don’t know much about except it is in a very limited study right now and seems to limit long term lung damage.
There is no indication that he is critically ill.
I tuned into Fox News to see what’s going on and Chris Wallace is STILL on, blathering away - doesn’t that RAT stooge EVER go home? I’m amazed they would even have him in the newsroom, since he was around the President and said he (Wallace) hadn’t been tested yet.
