LIVE at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 29: President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden take part in the first presidential debate between the two candidates. The Cleveland, Ohio event is moderated by Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace.
You are way out of date, FRiend. Ancient, in fact— left behind by the tech weenies and the real arbiters of the so called “undecideds”.... their “social” media knee jerk minds.
Lizard brains— no impulse control— and the mad housewives of suburbia who used to watch soap operas are no more.
I liked Trump’s responses. However, Biden’s lies were just too blatant, and Wallace was too incompetent to handle a debate - Wallace a pathetic figure.
Highly disrespectful
It did seem like Wallace dragged Biden over the finish line...
Whoa...THAT is amazing!
What a shame....for YOU.
We have (many) people here who have the same criticism (revulsion really) of Trump that you always hear...they dont like his hard fighting style, hes not genteel enough, hes too brash, he says sharp even crass things in a fighting environment. Hes not one of the politicians that theyve been trained to expect by the media and the professional political class. To them hes dissonance.
But that is how he succeeds, that is who he is, thats how he won.
Its funny to me, Biden (or Bidens financiers and handlers) send his voters out into the streets to burn, loot, riot and kill...yet its Trump thats too hard hitting and crass? No wonder the Republicans became like mayonnaise sandwiches...so many of their people think an election is drinking tea with their pinkie out, including many here on this site.
The pupils seemed to dilated.
National polls are still not to be believed. “Maybe” the week of the election, consider (briefly) the most credible ones and then remember what the polls said in 2016. Promptly forget what you’ve just considered and go VOTE.
Chin up!
” the best he could do was to drag Biden into the mud with him, and shed that veneer that Joe was a decent guy. “
You might have something there!
Rasmussen changed hands so can’t go by that.
Trump still has the white vote he had in 2016. Stop posting lies. He also has huge hispanic support.
Yea Trump definitely won... Biden looked so weak and frail and confused. It really was great.
Wallace showed his partisan colors, and made a fool out of himself. He should never be allowed to monitor a debate again.
Today I learned that the never-Trumpers temporarily given a pause during 2016 have not only returned but continued to embrace their spite and vitriol here. By the by, guys, we’ve long since grown immune to the concern trolling.
Wallace was worse than expected — I anticipated Dem advocacy but not shouting at our President.
Joe filled the bingo card with the twitches, the aggressive insulting behavior, the pat phrases repeating every possible lie, the loss of thought mid-speech, and the so-obvious remote coaching.
Couldn’t agree more special about the concern trolling. It seems like it’s really become a problem here on free republic the last couple of years.
He is poorly prepared

Blame this on Chris Wallace for not sharing the questions equally with Trump.
All debates are rigged against conservatives.
It was about that time that more yelling ensued so it was hard to catch it all.
However, IIRC, Wallace only referenced *white supremacist groups* and I thought it was Trump who brought up Proud Boys.
If that was the case, I wish he hadn’t done that. It showed that Trump considers them a white supremacist group, which I don’t see.
These days that phrase is thrown around so casually, it has lost any significance it could have had.
Biden is a pathological liar. It’s very, very hard debating a pathological liar. Especially when the moderator is working for him.
Everything Biden said is to be fact checked and made into individual ads showing he lied and lied.
Just let them go at one another? Heh! Chris Wallace was about to wet his diaper, he was so mad.
Laura Ingraham up....we’ll see who she has on. Not sure Laura thinks it was a “nice” debate. Will listen to her ‘Angle”.
I’m a suburban woman and loved the debate tonight. I’m used to this kind of male arguing from my “suburban” brothers, uncles, husband, and three grown sons. Lots of men in my life.
Hmmmm. Maybe the problem is “suburban women” these days are married to. . .shall we say. . .soy boys? And that’s what they want?
Actually the real problem is that the majority of women in the United States are unmarried and maybe a bit. . .anti male?
The debate tonight was three men and was all MALE. I loved it.
